Urgent Help With Team Editing In CM12

Hi all, I'm new to the forum. I used CM12 to edit one of the national teams (I replaced India with Albania). I made sure I changed everything including the kits, flags, players formation etc, however when I chose Albania to play a match in FIFA 13 the game unexpectedly quits before loading. Can somebody please tell me if this can be fixed, and point me in the correct direction. Thank you in advance.

Pretty much impossible to help you out bro. Could be so many things, even one small editing issue or mistake will crash the game. Plus CM 12 wasn't designed to work with FIFA 13, and there are a number of known bugs when using it to edit the db. What you need to do when undertaking a major editing project like that is to edit in stages. Edit something, save, try it in-game to make sure your edits work, back up the file, then continue editing. When I edit a league, I usually end up with at least a couple dozen backup saves as I go along. If my game ever crashes, I just reload the previous backup that I tested and that I know works.

you have regenerated bh ? if not, do this and save again.
my fifa13 crashes starting the game. Solution: press windows buttom so that you see your desktop, then return to the game and it works. also when you quit a match back to the main menu, press windows buttm to return to the desktop and go back to the game an press play the game

Did you link your new India national team to India the country in the countrys tab? If you didnt then your new national team may be linked to the country Albania in the countrys tab.

Sorry but how do I regenerate the bh? As I said I'm new to this. I thought I could learn a lot in one step, but it seems I need some help.

Oh ok. I found out how to regenerate bh files. I'm hoping this makes it work. Thanks for your suggestions.

Nope. Still crashes just before the match loads. The team is fine in general i.e. I can edit squad and players in-game, but the match engine crashes (doesn't load at all) quitting FIFA13 if I pick Albania as the team I'm playing with. This is beginning to frustrate me.

My recommendation would be to redo things step by step. Start over again and do whatever you did the first time -- rename/switch teams etc. Then start FIFA 13 and see if it runs and if you can play a game with your new team and so forth. Doing it that way, you're bound to quickly discover which step in the editing process is causing the issue.

My suggestion is to delete your new team's flags and then look if it works in game. CM sometimes scrambles them while saving.
