Methinks you may have posted this in the wrong forum (Football Manager is a Sports Interactive game whilst this forum is for EA Sports' FIFA Football series), so you may get a more definitive answer from the correct forum, but my son has just been through the change from FM 2005 to 2007 and doesn't seem to think there is any way to do what you are after.
