Unlocking team chants

I think i just now won the konami cup for the third or fourth time in hope to unlock the option to edit "team chants".

what cup settings are really required ?

if i remember correctly you gotta win the konami cup with any of the club teams to unlock that feature. just try it out.

origth, i actually only won it with national teams so you are probably rigth

Maybe I'm too busy playing the game to notice crowd chants but I did win Konami cup quickly (3 teams, Roma (me), Hamburger, Aston Villa on 1 star...hey, i was trying to get the chants quickly). I went back into ML and I didn't really notice a real difference in the chants, seemed like they were still singin generic ones.

The chants work in ML right? won't make sense if they don't. Oh well, when i get back to the PS2 (2 weeks +), i'll have to check it out.

Did you assign the appropriate chants to their corresponding teams in the edit menus?

I really like Liverpool's chants, though once I unlocked the chant edit mode I had to turn down the commentary a notch (but still audible) so I could hear the chants better.

I sorta know what you are talking about. The team edit menu in ML I see two names, Roma and ROMA. One is the call name the other is the team name or whatever. Which one do I change if I want to hear Liverpool's Chants. First or the second. Also, is it that Roma don't have cool chants that I don't hear them or what? Thanks in advance.

You have to change the option which is the 2nd from the bottom I believe. Before you win the Konami Cup that option has questions marks in it. After you win you can edit that option. Goto that option, select it, then choose list. Choose the name of the team you want there and you will hear their chants when you play against them.

It may be that Roma fans don't have good chants (I hear their new one is "we can't pay our players but please let us play in Serie A this season" Sorry Ezio, just kidding) but I'm not sure that's the case because all the Italian teams I've played seemed to have very vocal fans. I think you have to assign most of the teams to their corresponding chants (not sure about that though).

Thanks alot LOL. They will be in Serie A without a problem btw. BTW, where is my modded PS2. You guys are making me jealous with all this WE 6 talk. They should have some decent chants though especially Grazie Roma (which is a song really)
