Can you please tell me how this utility accomplishes this?

Or better yet, can you please tell me how to get the original settings back once i've used this utility?

I used this utility...decided i'd rather have the accomplishments reset to their original cost...but can't figure out how to get it back to normal.

I tried restoring my entire backup of the FIFA 09 Folder. Didn't work. I reinstalled the entire game. Didn't work. I deleted some registry settings. Didn't work. Every thing i do to try and get the original settings back doesn't work...it always shows that everything still costs 0 points.

So, please, tell me...what the heck did this utility do to my computer? And how do i go about restoring the original settings (outside of having to reinstall Windows).

Needless to say, i'm a bit ticked at the moment. :mad:

*edit* I just loaded a System Restore point from before i installed this patch and that still didn't even reset it!

I am not so sure about this, but this unlocker does not affect the FIFA 09 db in any way. I think you will need to delete your profile.

Backup the FIFA 09 folder in My Documents and delete the folder, the try FIFA 09. This should solve your problem.

Man, in your angry feeling you are mixing up 2 different situations.
What is your problem? If you go to the "ingame shop" do you see all the items with cost 0 or simply you have all of them unlocked but they have their own cost? The second one should be the situation if you installed properly the patch. If you want to "delete" the fact that you own everything you have only to delete the A. Profiles folder in Documents\FIFA 09 as wwwescape said. If, instead, you have all the items with cost 0 ingame, I doubt you installed the patch right and I highly doubt you reinstalled FIFA, because reinstalling you should have restore the original db.

Sorry, i should have added this to my original post as well, but i've also tried deleting my profiles from there and it makes no difference. And, yes, i installed it correctly.

Everything has a 0 cost in the Fan Shop. *EDIT* I still have to purcahse the items from the shop...they're not unlocked...it's just that their cost is 0 and not the normal price. If that's not what your program does then i'm not sure what went wrong because it did install correctly. The only conflict i can think of may have been running it as an Administrator since i have Vista.

So exactly what did the batch do? You never seemed to answer that question other than laying blame on me.

Looks like i'll be reinstalling Windows. :(

Ok, figured it out finally.

My apologies for any ill will that may have been caused.

It was a Vista problem. Somehow there was a still a Fifa 09 folder in a virtual folder at c:\Users\"my name"\AppData\Local\VirtualStore

It doesn't show up when you explore windows...it's a hidden system folder by default. I had to do a search for all Fifa 09 to dig it up. Once i deleted it, everything's fine.

Again, sorry for the problems. :(

Hi, I have tried to install this patch but failed. Looking at the black dialogue box, I can see it says fails to overwrite fifa.db or something like that. I'm using Windows Vista. Please help. Thanks.

Please ensure that you have admin rights to write and read in FIFA 09 directory...

Hi Outsider,

Do you know of a way to unlock the possibility to change menu languages through a menu option ingame? There was an option for this in FIFA 2005 i think.
