I tried editing my squads from there but they didn't change... what i did was i took the player ids from the table_playerwrite graph and then found them on table_teamplayerlinks and changed the team id on the players i wanted. I then Imported the data back to fifa 2005 but when i turn the game on, the squads are still the same. what am i doing wrong? thanks.

That's really easy, you can transfer players in the game. I think you go into My FIFA, then Squads, and pick a team. Then click on a player, I dont remeber if you're supposed to double click on him or click on a little tab on the bottom, but anyways if you did it right, then it lets you select a team again, this is the team you want to transfer him to. Very very easy.

yes i know the ingame way but that doesn't help me because I want to change the squads for direct ip use. I tried changing the squads like that and giving the file to my friend but it didn't work, we had the default squads. I need to change the main database so that we can play with the players we want. How do i do it using unidb?

I know that when you run the game, it automatically loads your saved squad. In the game, I think there is an option to reset to default settings, try that.

no no no, I don't want the default settings. what I'm saying is that when I edit the squads from inside the game, they don't take effect in direct ip. What I want is to play direct ip with the edited squads so I need to know how to change the teams in which players are from unidb.

You missed my point. Ok let me illustrate it in multiple points:

- When you use UniDB to edit the database, you are editing the DEFAULT squads for the game.

- Whenever you run the game, it automatically loads a save file that contains your last changes INGAME. You know whenever you change something in the formation, it asks you to save? This savefile contains the squads that you DONT want.

- Therefore, whenever you load the game it loads that savefile, tehrefore you're not getting the squads you want. Because with UniDB you are editing the game's database, not that savefile.

- In order to make the game run the database that you edited with UniDB, try resetting to default from within the game. If my assumptions are correct, the game will then load the default database which *SHOULD* be the one you edited with UniDB.

- Get your friend to do the same. Try it and tell me what happens.
