Unable to access controller option

I have downloaded the patch file successfully,but when I select option-controller I am able to see the menu but unable to access to change sidewinder gamepad. Pse help.

If you find a solution please post it so maybe I can fix mine

click on the word keyboard on the controller menu

I've tried that for the longest time.

The pad has to be recognized by the game as one of the pads the beta testers set for the game.

So, if your game isn't in the list (I forgot which config file it is), then it mapps itself.

Basically, just like me, you are screwed.

There are ways around it, do a search on this forum's site and you will find the threads.
