This is what somebody said about fifa 2004 on the si boards

Played it today after wqe got all ours delivered today. Its not as bad as you'd initially think, but its still nothing on PES. Its very stylishly done as you'd expect, and things like the replays are pretty good. It stills falls halfway between a serious sim and arcade though, and it shows. the passing system is better than previous efforts, but does nothing that PES doesn't do loads better. Its a bit harder to score this time round, but the AI still has the irritating flaw of not finishing its own chances. So despite your own tally being lower, the game isn't actually all that harder.

Also, on the PS2 version, the animation is ever so slightly jerky, and worringly, the game crashed 3 times in the hour we played it.

Hmmm, I won't put this down as anything so far.

I'll wait to hear more information on this, none of the reviews have shown any signs of this.

It crashed 3 times on the ps2? I'll look at more reviews but its looking grim. I love fifa, but crashing on the ps2, too much.
