Yes, because Rooney for Ibra and Vidic for Terry shows that you're completely objective.
Actually, most English pundits, basically the guys who spend most of their time watching the Premiership, where Evra and Cole play, agree that Cole is the best left-back in the world, and they have been saying that for the past 2 years.
Terry is better than Vidic. Vidic is a good-marker and a thug. End of. He got his ass handed to him by Torres in their last encounter, and Torres got HIS ass handed to him by Terry in their last encounter. Defensively speaking the only player in the world above Terry right now is Carvalho, but Terry is also a great captain and he's stronger than a ******* horse, he's a fantastic defender. Vidic is a great centre-back, of course, but there's nothing he can that Terry can't do better, except for encouraging his proteges to kick other players in the chest, he seemed might happy with himself when that happened.
Exactly, Rooney was second-fiddle. You want him to be recognised as the best player in 2009 at a position he was pushed out of by Ronaldo. Ridiculous. Doesn't even matter, next season when Vidic or Rooney have left you'll be saying they were **** all along.
Lampard IS better than Kaka, but that's not the point. Do you even know what this team is about? It's about the players who played best last year and contributed the most to their teams. What did Kaka do last year? Nothing. Lampard was at the heart of Chelsea's campaign, FA cup, close 3rd at the Prem and near-finalists. Gerrard deserves it far more than Kaka, and there's a case for him to deserve it more than Lampard, but at the end of the day Chelsea got to the semi-finals of the competition that matters most in this award, beating Liverpool along the way.
No **** Sherlock.

Real Madrid, Chelsea, AC Milan, and Inter: each one has one player there.
Manchester United has 2 players.
FC Barcelona has 5 players + the coach (5+1=6 ).
This is the truth.
btw, personally, I would have changed 1 or 2 players there. There are some other players that deserve to be there more.
No **** Sherlock.
