Generic Oval
Reserve Team
On monday, 7th April 2008 there's been an official Euro 08-community event at EA Germany.
The German fan-page FIFA4Fans visited the event and got some interessting news for us also regarding to FIFA 09 on PCs. At the moment their report is only available in German language, but I summarize the main facts for you here. If you want the full article you should visit FIFA4Fans.
I'm sure they'll have an English version of this article soon.
FIFA4Fans had the opportunity to ask some questions for Euro08 and FIFA09 directly to the producers of the next-gen and current-gen version of Euro08.
Their main question was, if there will be next-gen in FIFA 09.
But the answer they recieved is bad, for all of us PC gamers.
It seems like FIFA09 is going to have current-gen again. As the producers said, there are technical and social reasons for this decission. Of course it wouldn't be a too big problem to convert next-gen for PC, but EA also thinks of gamers in south american or eastern european countries who don't have the required systems for a next-gen game.
At the moment it's not quite sure if FIFA 09 finally gets next-gen graphics, but we have to expect to get dissapointed again.
If there's an english Version of the article I'll let you know.
