UEFA crashes when i score goal

I just purchased the game and installed it, i have directx 8 and have a decent computer Video card is an NVIDIA 32 MB athlon 700 processor. Whenever i score a goal it crashes, tried it in a friends PC and does the same thing. Plz help me out this never happened with any other games i played before.

Well, I will post my first comment after I played it for the first time, but I am so tired of playing Fifa 2001, that it can only be positive

Maybe it is me...I just don't like UC! I think it has some great features yes. However the passing is sooo fake the ball looks like it is travelling from one magnet to another. The one - two passing only works in some situations. I find myself pressing the button a million times before I get a response. The crossing is pathetic as is the long ball or shall I say long balloon balls. I could go on forever!

So far i have spotted two warez versions floating around the traps, but as mentioned before they are "no frills rips" .. the best fix for that problem is to prise open the miserable wallet and relieve it of the 25 quid or so and have a 'no problems' version .. also notice that the Athlon chip keeps popping up when guys are having worries with certain games, ???? are many of you lads having Athlon problems, for some reason or other i don't really think that the Athlon is 100% secure with certain pieces of software ... any feedback would be welcome .........Eleftherios, sorry to see that you can't seem take to this game, it's a real downer when your expectations are not realised, but sad to say that is the way it is in the cyber football world, just a ??? for you, what are your Pc 'Football' favs that you play the most of the time .. I totally agree with Eleftherios.
This game is way too buggy and has pretty poor overall gameplay at the moment to be a great game.

The bottom line is, unfinished games like this should NEVER have been released. Its an insult to gamers everywhere.

As for warez, I for one am glad I was able to get my hands on a warez version before I actually went out and bought the game.
How ripped off would I feel if I actually paid $$ for it!!

Question now is, will this patch, whenever it arrives, actually fix all the problems? I doubt it can fix them all in one patch.
So will there be more than one patch? Usually, once a game is released, there is rarely more than the 1 patch which would suggest to me that this game will never reach its true potential. Pity

I basically have stopped playing the game some time ago, and am now hoping the patch will make the game playable. Fingers crossed.

I get a original copy for free, so it isn't a waste of € for me when I don't like it. The last time a played a nonfifa footie game is some time ago, I think it was Kick Off 97, so I will be glad if I finally can play one that isn't from EA sports. Just for the variation.

If you're playing a warez version Requiem, the patch won't work for you I'm afraid.

I'm just waiting to see if MY issues are resolved in the patch before I fork out the $$ to buy the game, particularly since I'd have to order it overseas and online.

Are you guys planning on future patches/upgrades as well, or is this a once off?
