You're right, I missed Shevchenko and Puyol.
Those 9 players + Mourinho could win any game, though. I think there's a good balance between 'workers' and 'talents'.

So I guess you missed EURO 2004 and, oh, the last two years.Originally posted by Mikey
Oh, and just because Robben has played well in past month doesnt mean he deserves a spot.
lol Zambrotta didn't win anything with Italy, and got only third place with Juve. It's only now Juve with Zambrotta are on the 1st place, but we chose not the best players of the beggining of 2004/2005 season, we chose the best players of 2004!Originally posted by Mikey
Im shocked with some of the selections im seeing. Evra and Lahm over Zambrotta (or Cole)!?!?!?

Coach: Otto Rehaggel
Im stunned anybody could not pick this guy. His coaching basically created the biggest shock in football history, and there should be no debate who deserves it.
That was obviously the best tactics to compete with more talented teams. And only the reuslt matters.Originally posted by Voltaic Borusse
Pfffft, please ...
His coaching method consisted of a 9-man defense that practically put any opposition that came their way to sleep. I don't see how that warrants a vote, sorry.
