I think it's a bad change. It helps clubs that come nowhere, it makes things from decent clubs from mid-range league almost impossible like someone i nthe prev page mentioned..
The rich will actually get richer from this since it will be easier to go through. If you want a world closer to being fair, remove the bosman rulling completely and make EU players count as foreign players. As for the champions league being a CHAMPIONS league once again like elber mentioned, im all for it. Unfortunately, especially post-bosman it's almost impossible for teams that don't come from a few.. certain countries to be competitive as well as it wouldnt bring UEFA so much money. That was/is the whole reason behind moving to a 32 team CL format, and then adding a 2nd group stage and so on.

Fiorentina and Atletico were the worst, but I always prefer Spanish to Italian teams. Not because I hate Italian teams (well, a little), but because Sporting (and portuguese) history against italians isn't the best. Take Udinese and I.Milan in the past years, for example. I think our only win against Italians in the past years was home 1-0 with that strike from our least technical player, Caneira (H)

He won't play as good as he does for Stuttgart for any other club, he has said more than one time that he thinks of Stuttgart as his home.
