my lord... The worst footy game i ve ever played... i cant describe it. I liked so much the fifa07 but this is ridiculus game... despite is the same gameplay the graphics are horrible, all the time the champions song is playin, kits, stadiums , colors pitches... i cant describe, it cant be true...

You just don't need to buy this useless game. The editors of this forum worked hard on patches for 07, rinaldo made a creation master, we have lots of cmp patches, why on earth would anyone throw all this away for the champions league theme song and a fantasy stadium? that's what is really ridiculous.

you can create anything you get in this game in such short time with cm and a few downloads.

on the other hand, i hope a lot of people will buy this game, it might increase the chance of ea spending more money on developing and improving its fifa series. :mexican:

Yeh this game is quite nice, I can't see why ppl r dissing the graphics tbh, the only flaw i can see are the floodlights

uefa champions league 2006-2007 sucks, i use to like all soccer games by ea sports but this game really sucke a lot of buggs for exampl when i gonna take my penety shout player runt to me and if a touth them the goal kepper jumping lika a litte frog:P

i like it :) like the gloves like the cold air :) out of mouth, but we need a patch for the ball :) its too dark but in cl is normal

Here is my view :)

Let's start with the conclusion. I deleted CL from my harddrive after just 6 games... This is 3 steps back.

The game runs fluent on the highest resolution. I have a great PC (I can run games like Supreme Commander on very high settings without a fps drop).

Don't expect something new. No new stadiums (except for some old bonus stadiums like Highbury), no new licensed team (Unlicensed are 2 clubs from Moscow, 2 from Bucharest, 1 from Kiev and 1 from Sofia). PSV however IS licensed, there were some screens showing unlicensed dutch teams, but the eredivisie has been licensed again.

Ok let's start a Champions League tournament!... You'll the 32 default teams... wtf... Palermo, Tottenham, Tessaloniki, Feyenoord? No Liverpool, Real Madrid, AC Milan, PSV, Roma, Chelsea... etc. etc... Sigh.. it just randomises the teams! There is no way you can start with the REAL fixtures and groups :( You cann add/replace teams but you can't create groups.

Ok,. graphics! The graphics are worse then Fifa2007.. The blurry thing is horrible. In the opening scene you'll see something wich suppose to be a crowd, but it's all blurry. Replay's are worse, the adboards are really awfull (very very pixelated in replays)... And yes, I have detail level on "Very High" with the highest Resolution. A few game faces from Fifa2007 have disappeard! A few pro's: The ref and assistant ref are back :)

Gameplay: Very very very slow... even on "Fast" the game was 2 paces slower then Fifa2007 "Normal". It feels like players are running trough quick sand! It just doesn't feel right. Expect no new player animations, or new commentaries.

If you allready own Fifa 2007, then do not buy this game. Wait and see for the demo but this game horrified me! I am a PES Fan Boy and I actually liked Fifa2007! I played it allmost everyday for over 2 months! EA was heading the right way! Untill now... EA should be ashamed.... it's THAT bad!
