Lol, yeah do it. Understimate Chelsea. Chelsea will prove why he is the best club around Europe nowadays IMO.

3-1
Lampard
Drogba
Crespo
Ronaldinho

Id like to think that Ricardo wont be playing, as he seems low on confidence at the moment, but I get the feeling that Jose will be stationing Gallas on the left. I dont know if he trust's Del Horno to keep it locked down as it should be, and since Robben and not Duff will be starting on that side, the lb wont get much help, unlike the right side.
Ferreira---Terry---Carvalho---Gallas
is what im predicting. I know Rob wont much like that, but I still think it will be so

I only hope Jose can motivate Carvalho and especially Maniche to rise to the occasion. The latter is the veritable wild card

I have a sneaking suspicion that Crespo will start the second leg, especially if we're in dire need of goals. Drogba can help us keep a clean sheet at the Bridge with 1. his timewasting 2. his presence on set pieces

the bottom line is that we need to win the midfield battle and go from there. Without Xavi, there is little to no excuse to take control in the middle of park.

I believe "like a drunk monkey" was how dream team put it, but I doubt any defense wouldve stopped an effort like that. His path to goal was almost completely obscured. The fact that we won despite his individual brilliance makes me wonder what its going to take this time

It's not going to be a great spectacle of football on that pitch. It's a quagmire and will definitely suit Chelsea's up and at em approach.

Expect a physical game with a lot of the ball in the air with Chelsea grinding out a result.

Motta + Iniesta = Xavi

It's not entirely the same, but we've got the problem sorted out. It won't be as simple as walking into the field w/ Barca and controlling the Midfield. However, I do think that whoever can do this better (control midfield) will win over the two legs. Barca has superior offence, chelsea has superior defence. Whichever team's midfield fires will be the winner.

let's hope its us!

Like I said I'm not going to predict who will win as long as the better team wins. IMO it will come out to the midfield battles whoever wins them in the middle. What's the status on Xavi? anyone know when he's coming back? will he make the WC Squad?

Given the conditions of the pitch, Rijkaard may play the midfield Edmilson-Motta-Deco. It's our more physical midfield. That's how Barça played against Villarreal (Barça won 0-2). It wasn't a brilliant game but Barça deleted Riquelme and Villarreal almost had no chance. Only problem is that Motta has been one month injured and he has played only 20 minutes against Betis.

It'll be very important that Barça don't lose the ball in midfield. I expect a similar game to last seasons but less spectacular and more professional.

Barça have to think that the second leg is at home. They don't even need to win.

Can't wait. European weeks are special.

Maybe someone else. It's nearly impossible that I said something like that.

We bet our sig. The rules are pretty clear. A week for every goal difference on aggregate, a week minimum. A 300x100px pic that the winners will choose.

Barça: Dream Team, Xifio, Payukgcn and zka
Chelsea: TheBlueBalla and Pede54

4-0 to us. Joe Cole X 2, Lampard x 1, Crespo and Drogba get one each. Oh thats five....Ok we win 5 - 0

I saw it all in a vision...Deco gets 2 yellows for diving and gets sent off within 15 minutes. Messi just cant get past Terry and starts crying, Eto'o runs around accusing Drogba of racially abusing him and sulks in the dug out for the 2nd half.Carvalho has the game of his life and gets man of the match. The second half sees a surprise substitution. On comes Ron "chopper" Harris and kicks the crap out of Ronnie. On seeing Chopper and the mood he is in, the entire Barca team refuse to cross the halfway line, but its too late anyway. Being 5 goals down already, Barca decide to all fall down feigning injury at once, accusing Chopper of using heavy vibes on them.... :funny:

Actually it is impossible to predict the outcome of this game. 2 very equal sides means that anything can happen. We could f.u.c.k up and so could they, so who knows. All i know is that from the lower Matthew Harding stand I will be screaming my guts out until its over. Lets enjoy it. I just love European football, just to be able to play great teams like Barca is what its all about. :ewan:

Hey, I know that was a satire but Messi is probably more mature than any footballer his age. That's one of the things that makes him great. I'm excited because I think he is actually going to mark the difference in this match.

aren't you a tad bit confident lol :) I remember when Bayern Played Chelsea you did the samething. I have to agree watching Deco play is good but when it comes to diving what a joke he is. The refs in la liga are tired of his bullsh!t that they don't even give him the calls anymore. Still hope the better team wins

P.S. I hope if Bayern play Chelsea again they get revenge :P
