UEFA Challenge is a good soccer game. In my opinion it is better than FIFA 2001 because passing is much better and the game is more realistic I think.
But there are some things that destroy the fun of the game:
1. Your own players don't play any kind of defense. CPU team strikers always run 1 on 0 or 2 on 0 on my goal keeper. my defenders seem to sleep all the time.
2. Gamespeed is too fast. Slow down the pace of the game thus the game becomes MUCH more realistic or at least add a gamespeed slider like in FIFA 2001 so that everybody can adjust the speed to what he likes.
3. Players react too slow on my orders.
Much faster reaction time is needed here.
Mainly these three problems are the only real annoying problems, if you fix these everthing will be fine with me and EA Sports gets some serious competition. also really weird is there are way too many crashes, i.g. the screen really often simply freezes and I have to restart. my system: Pentium3 450 MHz,128MB RAM,GeForce2 GTS 32 MB.
Some minor problems:
1. Sometimes there is no net-sound when I score a goal after a real hard shot or no sound when hitting the aluminium. in general, there's unfortunately no sound for goali-saves and for the referee whistle after comitting a foul, why?.
2. A few texture bugs.
3. Sometimes jerky animations.
4. Improve player changing on defense so that always the player closest to the ball is chosen.
5. Let players tackle for the loose ball or for a goali rebound.
That's all, please fix the main problems and keep on your great effort on the internet community.
