Good game everyone played well but they thing that worried me most had nothing to do with what was going on in the field.
ESPN needs to decide at least 2 weeks in advance if they are going to show the game or pass it off to FSW. Not three days not ten minutes but atleast 2 weeks. It was clear that FSW didn't have nearly enough time to prepare for this game. I have had enough of this policy of ESPN buying events just to not have other networks have them. ESPN would let the NFL gang bang them for one more NFL game a year but the sit on all this other programing so other networks don't have. I mean who in their right minds would watch women's softball. If I wanted to see 200lb plus women trying to lay down a bunt and run to first I would, well, I don't know where I would go but it wouldn't be the so called worldwide leader in sports. I would rather see FSW and the Fox Sport Net channels have the US NT games than ESPN because atleast we know that we will be able to see them and not have to wait for the last second for ESPN to make their mind up on what they are going to show US soccer or Champions Tour golf.

That's how ESPN is. Anyways I don't mind women's softball. I date a softball player and most of the chicks who play are hot. However, when ESPN starts televising Spelling Bees and Math quiz contests instead of soccer then that's where you must draw the line.

hmmm how about them living up to their moniker as a Total Sports Network. Last time I checked spelling words, doing math problems, playing poker, watching fat men and women lift trucks, dogs jumping into water are not sports. ESPN shows a hell of a lot of soccer? Wow since when does on MLS game a week count as a lot. They show more of NHRA Drag racing than they do soccer. They even have their own shows for NHRA Drag Racing, Auto Racing, MLB, NFL (at least 3 shows), NHL, and NBA. I guess that one 2 hour timeslot of MLS is sufficient enough for you.
ESPN Deportes does a far better job. We get a chance to see the ESPN Deportes version of SportsCenter on Sunday nights at 1:30. In that show they would show highlights from Serie A, La Liga, EPL, Argentina, Mexico, etc. They also would show hockey, baseball, and basketball. They gave the full coverage like regular ESPN does to the Big Three American sports but also gave full coverage to soccer as a whole. Hell ESPN cares so much about soccer that they don't even show highlights from matches. On their sports ticker the USA Honduras score was listed under NCAA. What's the point in having a national team if the nation can't even watch them play.

I went to the beach at Lorain, near Cleveland. It's got some pollution, you can see a factory from it, which is pretty funny. But, it was a nice day, and there were girls and sand and it was better than school...
