Fair enough, there is some very good 2d stuff, but how was it done? I havn't noticed any 2d 'Freehand' graphics posted in these forums, they all mainly look like small background pics with small logos or cut out or text scrolled across the pic, and the couple or so that i have posted as sigs are the same, i am totaly useless at freehand drawing, so if there are any 'quallity' genuine freehand sig pics in here, could you point me to them, 'cos honestly i must have missed something --

Don't get me wrong but i prefer to work with the true 3d motion graphics, they present a better and more realistic display if done properly. IE:> Using lighting effects, plugins, object or light motion paths, camera etc, etc. which you can't seem get to a 100% realistic presentation in the 2d format, in other words 2d is more often a psuedo 3d effect that is achieved by using tricks like reflections with drop shadows, shades and shaded reflections etc etc etc . and yes, some of them do look ok, but to me they will never be in the same category or class that true 3d presents.

You only have to take note of the progress in the gaming world as it has developed from a basic flat presentation, to what i term as psuedo 2d and now its to the stage where we are getting mindblowing, realistic 3d Engine Designed Games -- You only have to take a look at a game like the amazing Morrowind to see what i am getting at
