Turn off Auto player switching

Helllo its seems that no one cares that you can't save your controller options. Or am i for some reason the only person who has this problem? I liked the 08 demo cause turning Auto player switching off was great. But in the full version i can't save my settings. You go back in and its default again. I'm sick off the computer getting goals cause it auto switched on me at important times.

Anyone fixed this?
