Trophies, Cups, and $$$ Givers (Sponsors)

Hi all!
I got bored with the lame cup and trophy images FIFA had so I decided to make some that were better. Below is a picture of what I have made. I use Creation Master 07 to add them. I would appreciate a few requests, preferably for cups that are not represented in the game acurately. I have been playing with the MLS, EPL, SPL, and German Bundesliga mostly so I am short on ideas. If you have requests I would also appreciate a picture of the trophy that is no smaller than 180 pixles and is editable (So I can isolate the trophy without anything else in the finished picture). Also, I have made some sposor logos to replace the lame ones that exist in manager mode. Most of them are companies that I thought I might like to sponor my teams in different regions as well as alot of breweries. For those of you who love authenticity I have added all of the EPL's jersey sponsors as well. These are boring to make, so if you have requests they might not get met. They are easy to make though, so use one of mine as a template and try for yourself. Mine are as big as the game will allow (do not go past the existing text though or the image will be cut off)

I would be happy to, but I need some images that are preferrably large (150px+) and editable so I can isolate the trophy without stuff in front of it or hands clinging to it (although I can deal with that). The Spanish Primera league cup needs and update as well as the Copa del Rey. Any others you might have would be great.

Yeah, I did that. I just thought it would be nice to at least make them available for people who aren't specifically looking for them. Eventually this will find itself in the useless threads. Oh well...:boohoo:

You said you take requests - I'd love to see a good Australian A-league trophy - I've had a quick look and can't find any really good pictures of it, but there's quite a few 'decent' pics if you go to http://editorial.gettyimages.com/Search/Search.aspx and search for "a-league trophy" (without quotations) - there's also a pic here: http://www.melbournevictory.com.au/_content/wallpaper/00000133-wallpaper1280.jpg

If you could make it that would be sweet, but the pictures here aren't ideal so if you can't then that's fine.

Do you know if there are actual names to these trophies or if they are known by the title of the championship/league? Like, for example, the NHL championship trophy being called the Stanley Cup. It might help me in my search. I will definately look to see if there are some better pics but these might be good enough. Thanks

The official names are:

"A-league Champions Trophy"
"A-league Premiers Plate"
"A-league Pre-Season Challenge Cup"

Unfortunately it is hard to find really good photos of them - I know I've been looking in the past, prehaps getty images is the best place to look.

I found really good pics of the of the Champions trophy and the pre-season cup. I will work on them and release them here in pack #2. I will have also added a few Central American and European cups as well as another UEFA Cup that I didn't even know existed. Look for it in the next few days.

If I could make one criticism it would be the A-league Champions trophy - I know the picture you have taken it from, which was really just an initial design, in reality it looks far more silver and metallic - like in this photo: http://www.melbournevictory.com.au/_content/wallpaper/00000133-wallpaper1280.jpg. However the one you have done is still very good and the other two I requested are perfect.

Yeah, the problem with all of the real pics I found was that the glare from stadium lights took away from the details that are highlighted in a kind of frosted look, not to mention the fact that all of the close pics involved the trophy being around someone's neck or grabed by too many excited hands. If you notice, I had to copy one pentagon at the bottom of the original pic (the only portion not glaring) of the Premiers Plate and fit it into all five corners. I tried doing that with the Champs cup, but it didn't turn out.
Glad you like them though and you are free to use them in that patch. I hope it turns out good.
