transparent / invisible kits

Can anyone help. I have the transparent kits problem mentioned elsewhere in the support forum. I have a GEFORCE2 64MB MX 400 graphics card. I have no problems with FIFA 2003. I have downloaded all the recent drivers from the NVIDIA site but whenever I try the new drivers my computer just freezes...I also have problems with DXDIAG when using the new drivers.

Will the actual game be any different on PC - WILL THE GRAPHICS WORK or do I need to take action.

I am running DirectX 8.1

I have the same card and latest drivers and there are no problems. I also have DirectX 8.1.

i too have the latest drives but i have directx 9.0band when i go to my DXDIAG i get these errors trying to test Direct3D Acceleration

Direct3D 7 test results: Failure at step 8 (Creating 3D Device): HRESULT = 0x80004005 (Generic failure)
Direct3D 8 test results: Failure at step 8 (Creating 3D Device): HRESULT = 0x8876086c (error code)

anyone knows how to solve the transparent kit problem? i'm using geforce 2 as well...seems like geforce 2 has a prob. i've got no problems with fifa 03...can anyone help?

Get a new graphics card - i had one a fifa worked fine as long as i changed the detail to low. I've now got a Tyan Tachyon G9600

I got this game over Christmas, however I had the same problems as you have mentioned. I have the same video cards and Direct X. I went to Control Panel, then DISPLAY, and found a button that says UPDATE DRIVER. The driver is on the Windows XP CD that came with my computer. Where did you get the driver update from? The one off the Windows XP CD automatically updated the driver for me.

Then I went back into the game, and it works fine now.

If you are using XP, this is what I did:

1) Click on Control Panel (from the START button)

2) Click on APPEARANCES AND THEMES

3) When the new menu opens, click on DISPLAY

4) Click on the SETTINGS tab

5) Underneath colour quality, click on ADVANCED.

6) Click through the different tabs, in one of them, you'll find UPDATE DRIVER.

7) Then put in your Windows XP CD, and allow the computer to search for the file... It does it automatically.

As I write this, I don't actually have the update driver function anymore, maybe because the computer recognizes that I don't need it anymore. So I might be off on steps 5 and 6. But generally, this is what I did.

I changed details to low, and now the kits aren't invisible! But now I have another problem: nets are like a brick wall, they don't move although ball goes to goal. I've tried with default nets and with Jonathan's Premiership nets. So how could I get both: visible kits and moving (?) nets?
