Transfers

For those who have FIFA 06 already. When you do the remaining transfers, will the computer automatically reconfigure a line-up for a team where one of the starting eleven players was transferred from it? Will the computer select the best attributed player to fill the gap or will it simply select the first player on the reserve list and for example, put a defender in the starting line-up for a forward who has been transferred?

and he was the last reserve
had to do it myself
it is alot of fun this year fifa
i actually enjoy playing it

and im sorry to say
i miss pes again
before i got the demo
i was into fifa
its got some good modes
but there is jsut no excitement in the game play
i never feel like im goign ahead
its pinball and very slow at the same time
the offiside trap is gay still
u cant press it and call it
just leave it on and hope the com does it right
and the gfx
so awful
all the kits looked painted on

what about the squadnumbers? do you know something about that

As soon as you make a transfer you pick a number of that player and if it clashes with the existing team mates, you can swap them over etc... It's very easy to do transfers this year. There is also an option under My FIFA 06 that allows you to update any new transfers etc... The transfers are as of 24th of August 2005.

Thanks you for the compliments. Yes, I have changed to FIFA 2006 this year and no, I won't be making any patches for WE9:I/PES5. I feel the WE/PES series is too flawed this year for me to enjoy. I tried playing PES5 and FIFA 2006 back-to-back for about 5 hours to decide which to stick with this year and I just enjoyed playing FIFA a lot more. PES5 is way too fast, the shots and headers are light speed and there are just too many things that annoy me about the game. FIFA is heading in the right direction. WE/PES is now going backwards for me. An increase in animations doesn't make the game worth getting when there are so many other problems that have arisen.

Anyway, off topic there!

I don't think I'll be trying to make any patches for the FIFA game this year. There are already dozens of great patch makers in the FIFA community who are far better than I'll ever be.
