Transfers in Master League

I've been trying to buy players in the Master League - I've put in about 30 bids on 20 different players and they all get rejected on the next Continue, even thought the offer is as much as 3 times the fee and salary. What am I doing wrong? I'm playing as Liverpool (sorry, "Merseyside Red"), it's 40 weeks into the game. I won my division.

I guess your just having really bad luck. Here's what I do.

1. Place a bid for the player you want.
2. Save your game.
3. See if it goes through.
4. If it fails, exit and load the save.
5. Repeat until you get the player you want.

Yea the transfer system really is terrible.

Although its worse on the PS2 for PRO4, where it seems like the more trophies you win, the less chance you have of buying players, which results in you spending hours just to get some players.

I have to save mine before I do the negotiations, because if I didnt, your lucky if I would get 2 players, even people on 3 stars rarely want to come, and even people who play in Division 2 wont come, wierd?..

yes this works most of the time,alot depends of course on what divsion your in,i reloaded 30 times trying to but castelen from feyernoord for my tottenham but still wouldnt sigh so i said funk it and went on without him
