I'm trying to sign Damien Duff from Chelsea as Bolton. (Who just one the league and Euro cup for their first time might I add!)

When I offer him a contract, then his agent says that the player can't accept the length of contract on the table.

Does this mean I should increase the length or decrease?

I think you should decide based on what you had offered which he rejected and what he was looking for before you offered the contract and decide whether to increase or decrease the length of the contract.

Ruud - He says he's not interested but when I offered him a contract his agent says we are close to a deal. When I go to the negotiation screen then it still says hes not interested.
