Training Q's

I want to get myself clarified about a few training issues:

1) Is it true that by rotating the players around you gain the balls faster? I have a player who just gained his second balls in speed and stamina. I want to him to receive his third balls in both criteria as soon as possible. So, what's the best and fastest way of going about it? Train him for each one separately or simultaneously?

2) With each improvement the player's performance will improve, right? Or do the improvements listed on training reports not show on the pitch until the ball is received?

3) Lets say an average player has exactly 2 balls in play intelligence, and his trainer has 4 balls. How much faster will this player receive his third ball with this trainer compared to without a trainer?

4) Is it true that old players don't lose balls if you don't put them in training?

Anyone know?

1) When you buy a player, it can sometimes be useful to move them around a bit to see if they have nearly gained a ball before you signed them. That way you can get some balls quickly if you're lucky. But for players that need to gain a full ball from stratch you should train them on one area and move them once they get a ball in that area. Speed and stamina take the longest to improve.

2) I would think that if a player is half-way to getting a ball then it would improve his performances slightly. But you cannot see this really, as you can only see whole balls. A player with 4.95 balls will play as though he has 5 balls, but you won't notice this I'd assume until he gets a full ball. Also bear in mine that form plays a part in performance, experience has a say, etc.

3) I can't really say how much faster, but if the coach has more balls, it will speed up training. If he only has one ball, he would still help the player improve faster than with no coach. Maybe not by much, but a slight improvement. So if you have a player with four on play intelligence, training him under a coach with four also is still worthwhile, as it will make him improve faster than if no coach is there. Just a shame we can't tell how much faster, I believe some Swedes were testing this but this was last season or the season before... haven't heard anything since.

4) This would seem a bug, and so it would get fixed... I think another rumour could also make sense... and that's if you don't train him, he will still deteriorate, but you can't see that, as he won't be on the training report. So you'd only notice when he loses a full ball... which is not good!
