Training in Manager Mode ?

Wow I just found by accident that under

Calender>Click X or A or 2 then you can select training options for the day

Maybe I am just dumb but any other things like this that I should know about

If your talking about checking your game results/other game results around the league, try checking all the options on the main page of your manager. I personally have never checked it, but i remember that in FIFA06 you could check it

Would be nice if there was a manual with all this stuff in it, wouldn't it. Even if it was a PDF document rather than printed it would be better than the nonsense we get now.

Other things like that that you might have missed?? How about man marking?? In Team Management after you've clicked Next Match, or in game, you can use the shoulder buttons to navigate to additional screens other than the squad list, one of which is a screen on which you can assign man marking assignments for your players. Were it not for the match XP bug this would be a good way of boosting up your defenders and defensive midfielders because even a half spent marking a man boosts their match XP attribute a fair bit.

They don't get an immediate boost to ratings (that would be rather unrealistic) but there is an effect on their match XP attribute points. It is difficult to say for definite exactly how much, because you cannot perform a training session in isolation, it always follows a match, but there is definitely an effect under the covers, although again it tends to get lost because of the match XP bug with player signings.

That manual is pretty much identical to the paper copy that I received in the DVD box for the retail version of the game, just that mine does not refer to soccer and has only the English language pages. My point was that I'd like to see a decent manual that explains more of the in game options in greater depth, but I guess those kinds of things are left to 'strategy guides' these days.

Turning In Fifa10

Everybody is right on your back now preventing the turn and powering behind you it seems,

How do you turn with pressure behind? Is it the Right Button? Is it the Right Trigger? Is it the Left Trigger?

yea you can turn like that, or the player will do a flick turn, like they will flick it over their head/the defenders head
