Which type of stadium do you guys think is best sooted for soccer, the one with the running track around wich protects the players from drunken ppl throwin stuff at them, or the english way where there is only and advertissment thingy that seperates the crowd from the field.

Btw; Why doesnt any one use Wembly Stadium, i mean the architecture is quite nice and everything seems pretty modern. Is it bcuz there arent enough seats or did an accident happen there a long time ago that i don't no about which killed a lot of ppl which is the reason thats no team wants to buy it.

Wembley is being rebuilt, and it's not used by a club because it's the stadium of the English national team - and it hosts all the cup finals, charity shields, etc.

Wembley was demolished and a new one is being built.

I definately like the pitch with no stadium around it. It really isn't too safe for the players(read Figo taking a corner after the trade from Barcelona), however it really increases the home field factor.

There's a stadium with 16,000 seats and a running track where I live, yet the local team plays at a little s***hole with no running track. People say the atmosphere is better, I say there is no atmosphere in Finland anyway.

No track brings more atmosphere to the stadium. It brings the fans more closer to the club and his players

I prefer being as near to the pitch as possible, much better atmosphere and you can get some good banter going with the away fans.

i think it depends. if the team and area are big enough to support a stadium just for football, it is better to have no track as that is best. but if the area isnt that big, a track must be installed so that football isnt its only use

OBVIOUSLY no track is better!

yeah it's safer with a track, but like william said, a moat or river separating the pitch from the fans would be safer too.
or... an EMPTY stadium without fans would be even safer!

thank god that r. carlos doesnt play in the EPL or else there would be dead people because only the advertisements seperate the field and the crowd.
