Totti... Oh Totti...

Sometimes I dont know whether to hate him... or hate him...

It wasn't enough for him to act like he deserved the World Player of the Year last year when his peformances were no where near Zidane, let-alone Henry or Nedved! :kader: But he has to be a douche again. Pathetic.

Sptting is not innocent. It is the biggest act of disrespect you can do to another person I feel. I would rather take a bad tackle than someone spit on me.

No, getting someones fingers jammed up your ass is.

I am just trying to point out the absudity of the rules. Try to break a leg... yellow card. Spit on someone, 3 match ban...

Insane

Actually yes. It was this Mexican player who did it. But the Mexicans and their fans are known for playing dirty... just ask the US players when they get piss thrown at them from the stands.

ay but injuries ie - breaking legs (well not quite but harsh tackles etc.) are all part of the game.. everyone's susceptible to injury, it's a brutal game.

spitting on the other hand is showing immense hatred towards someone and is very degrading to the person being spat on. it's like you're looking down on that person, thinking you're superior over him.

i'm glad Titty got banned.

What do you expect from someone like Totti? He's a megastar getting run around by a bunch of no name Danes.

Either way, intentionally trying to hurt someone is not part of the game... go back and look at that tackle and you can tell exactly what he is trying to do.

yeah, and that totally gives Totti the right to spit in that guy's face, right. the megastar was being frustrated by a buncha no-name Danes and that gives every justification for what Totti did.

and i was implying that playing aggressively is all part of the game not intentionally trying to hurt someone, but yeah that tackle was dirty.

No doubt the punishment is deserved... but on second thought I do not like the fact that this evidence surfaced only after the game. That's a bit cheap by whoever intiated that..

What if this is becoming a habit...every team brings in extra cameras trying to record evidence of foul play and then runs to UEFA whining about them and trying to influence things retrospectively... not good...
