that's so sad,in my opinion he was the key of why germany got into the semi, anyway i guess italy has more chances of getting into the finals with or without frings playing for germany.

Losing Frings only hurts Germany's chances. He should never have thrown that punch. It saddens me to know that he won't be on the pitch tomorrow. :)

man, just because one or two german newspapers reported that the FIGC sent in the evidence doesn't mean it is true. it could be, but there is also the chance that it isn't. it could be a tactic to gain motivation for the players and fans.

germany did a good job of pissing off the italians with that newspaper printing that italians were mamma's boys, parasites and etc. im sure that just adds fuel to the fire.

the FIGC has openly denied it, lippi has denied it(which is to be expected), but FIFA has also said that the received no contact on this issue from the italians. but i guess you can't trust or believe FIFA cause they are crooks.

Figo got a yellow for that headbutt, and in the regulations it says you can't overturn a ref's decision. Had the ref not seen the headbutt, or red carded him, there would have been a ban.
