I admit that the graphics for Fifa 2K are strides ahead of previous versions of Fifa, so why not concentrate more on the gameplay more for Fifa 2001?

1. Have players go on hot and cold streaks like in NHL 2k.

2. When a player gets injured tell us how long they are going to be out and why.

3. As part of the player customizition let us put in a height and weight.

4. Let the user select the jersey(s) the keeper is going to wear.

5. Bring back the basic special moves (i.e. scissors and fake shot), and make certain ones like the spin and flick over work only a few times a game.

6. Have a lofted through ball button.

7. Make the keepers come out and snag crosses, it seems like keepers never get crosses outside of their six.

8. Make shots a lot less accurate, there are far too many shots on goal in Fifa 2K.

9. Let the user create their own set plays.

10. Make the fans very from game to game: have varied crowd sizes, and differ the noise for home and away games.

I think these are both excellent suggestions, but I agree more with Landis because his seem more feasable than Soccer Fans'. I do like the ideas of bugs in the offsides and preffered foot that Soccer Fans suggested. I hope EA Sports sees this one!

I want to add a few improvements in FIFA2001:
1. Correct the bugs of offside, please!!
2. Jumping freekick wall!
3. At least 25 players in each team!
4. Changing weather during game!
5. More dribble moves -please restore stepover and dribbling moves like Ginola or Zola and replace 360 degree spin moves, it is too unrealistic and rare to occur in real game!
6. Slower passing speed and different playing style between different nations!
7. Increase the chances of long shot and please reduce the possibility of losing goal in the corner kick!
8. Improve skills and fitness of each player during seasons!
9. Deliberate handball!
10. Linesman and photographers.
11. One -two passes and more accurate through passes!
12. Stadium select.
13. Different body structure can be edited or more hairstyle like Ravenali or Seedorf!
14. Reduce every shot can be caught by goalkeeper and increase chances of own goal!
15. Prefered foot!

F2K isn't an example of how a great soccer-game has to be. If EA sports listens more to the potential buyers and talk to people who know a thing or two of soccer, they will be able to make THE soocergame No.1

Internet play would solve all the AI problems, because you'd now be playing against a human opponent, the whole gameplay issue would be irrelevant.

Iandis I have to disagree.

You forgot about the most important ones, like:

1) Bigger Pitch (people have been asking for it since FIFA98, also the bigger pitch would make the game play more realistic and harder to score goals, since it would be more difficult to get from on end of the pitch to the other)

2) PowerBar (enough said, every great football game has to have a way to controll the distance of shots and cross, play ISSS and you will know why this is a must)

3) Better AI (enough said)

4) Make individual kits for each team (not that random thing of colors and stripes, theres plenty of space in the FIFA99 for that, they just have been to ****ing lazy)

5) Better ball physics ( In all fifas the ball seems to have a scripted path, I want to have more controll over it)

6) Better Referee calls ( every tackle from behind should be a foul like in a real game, the referees seems to random in FIFA2k, you never know if he will call the foul)

7) More controll over the tackle ( that would end player hiting the tackle butto like crazy, you should have to be aiming for the tackle)

8) Better gfx (its time to change the engine, give us 32bit textures and colors. And make better drivers for 3d3 and Glide)

9) MAke a less buggy game ( Fifa99&2K have been buggy as hell, FIFA99 dint even play more then 3 matches before crashing)

10) Good damnit FOCUS MORE ON GAMEPLAY.

Pls focus more on the engine! It's kind of boring when you can score goals so easily after some time even in the hardest level in the game.

These are all great ideas! Keep them coming- EA will have to notice if more and more people keep on writing in.

Vandersar: You brought up a great point about the scores of the games. Last night I played a game on World Class with 4 minute halves and beat Chelsea 7-1 with ManU. I'm sorry EA, but I don't think this would ever happen in a real game!

What about the south American teams...we should have more teams from South America...Ea should also change the numbers...Make it so the numbers can be seen in red, green, blue...ea should also put numbers on their shorts or the front of the players jersey....Make the game slower please...and get rid of that unrealist 360 move...make it so we can have more than only 15 stadiums...make bigger and nicier looking pitches......The refs should also start calling the fouls more frequently...That's all I can think of for now...Falo!

I agree with Landis suggestions and with having a bigger pitch.
My own suggestion is to make the keeper vulnerable:
-What is the point of having 2 or more keepers if keeper number one never gets injured or suspended.
In reality, a lot of keepers get injured within a season.
And please make the game harder (like fifa99) at the world class level...

7. An editor for stadiums included, so you can built your own stadium.
8. Sponsershirts is one of the best wishes i've seen.
9. A lot more players in a team (22, or 25)
10.Home and away crowds and varied crowd sizes, earning money with sponsering and crowds, so you can buy players.
Sensible World of Soccer is an example for this. (maybe a bad exaple)
11.A careermode with a lot of options, changing from club for example.
12.Different types of play ny different countries is very important.
13.More realistic results, results like 2-1, 4-3, 1-2, etc are not realistic.
Why not once 4-1 or 6-0 or 0-3 or 2-4, etc. I am talking about the computerteams now. I hope you understand?!
14.More realistic tables, not Manchester United ranked 14th in de Premier League or something like that.
15.Smoother gameplay is the first thing I would like to see.
16.More AI commentary, keepers and gameplay are very important too.
17.A stadion speeker would be nice to (to announce a goal like NHL 2000)

I hope EA will consider you're wishes and mine ofcourse.
This is the best wishlist on the net.

i agree with most of these, but you have to understand its illegal to put brand names in the game with out permission. i think there should be an in game editor so you can put you're own in without ruining that style of shirt e.g. tottenham have holsten but a team with the same shirt style have another sponsor.

Perhaps you'll disagree but I prefer to have only 15 leagues instead of 20 or 25 but with all the faces of the players like in NBA LIVE 2000 or NHL 2000.

You guys are all right. How hard could it possibly be to ask coca cola, "Hey how bout you guys let us put your little logo on a couple of our jerseys in the game?" Also the same thing goes with NIKE. I think they should have enough money by now to pay off these guys so they can put Ronaldo in the game instead of "No. 9" What the hell is that? Tell them to stop being selfish, they did the same thing with Michael Jordan in the NBA Live series. Maybe some slower gameplay wouldnt hurt either, it's not a ping pong match we're playing here its football for god's sake.
