You will be able to unlock the option to register players in the clubs... ???

Hell it makes ssnse, since seeing how easy it is to do with the Europe Elite team, I find it hard to believe it could'nt be done... ???
And the way the club names are edited where you first have to unlock the option, I would'nt be surprised they did this... ???

I heard about it, it's not confirmed, so please don't falme me if it's not true...

I'm not sure about this, but if you create a player, set his nationality to say English, and want to register him to England, you'll have the choice of England and a team with '?', as some team you should be able to unlock, a custom team perhaps?

And I don't think it has got anything to do with the classic teams, as this goes for all national teams, from Senegal to Norway, and I doubt they got classic teams for all these.

After beating my ML on HARD, I unlocked just a few things, the ability to play my ML club against the National squads in friendlies; unlocked a whole bunch of players that were added to my "free contacts" list if I want to get some new players on my ML squad such as Paul Ince, Dunga, and a whole bunch of others! That was only on HARD though, EXTREME might be a different story. Hope that helps any.

I finished WE6 on Extreme and I didn't get anything other then what you have mentioned above. Not that I could see anyway...

right now it looks like it'll take me 2 (real) years alone to get into the 2nd league... it's so damn difficult...

I finished 3rd division on Normal in a day...
Only drew 3 games... all with a 2-2 score line... had some crazy scores like 5-4, 6-1 and one I even came back from 3-0 down to kill it 3-4... (My Trezeguet rules... )

Now I'n in the 2nd divison round 5 which has taken me half a day... And I'm strugling, won the first game 6-1, and barely making it 1-0 threw on the others...

So I assume maybe about a week to complete division 2... ???

Well only play hard once I've master Normal to complete boredom...

It took me a couple of months. Sometimes I didn't play it for ages then sometimes I would play 10 matches in a row!!!

It takes a while to get used to playing Extreme. It is a lot different to playing Hard and playing other human opponents. You just need to learn how it works.

It is pretty hard at first when you haven't got any decent players. I would recommend getting a striker first (although this isn't as necessary in PES2 because you can shoot a lot easier). In WE6 it is pretty much impossible to score a goal with the standard players! I have managed to score loads in my PES2 master league. The game seems a lot easier because you can dribble better and even the crap players have still got a thunder shot on them (which is a bit poor in my opinion)!

I always have my formation set to 3-4-3 B I think it is. The one where the attacking midfielders are further out on the wings then the holding midfields. I always play attacking strategy for the attackers and manual offence/defence in the game. Where you can more the bar forward or backwards manualy to attack more or defend more.

Apart from this I don't do anything else.

You just need to practice!

You just have to win the konami cup with a club side to unlock the chants ant team names.

Basically all this does is unlock an option in the edit menu for club teams that appeared as ?? before.Once the konami-Umbro cup has been won with a club side it changes this to commentry team name, giving a big list of names which you can change clubs to. Each name has varying crwd chants with them, although the only way of testing them out is to play a game with that team.

thanks for your detailed input.... i have tried switching from 4-5-1 to 3-4-3 during the match depending on situation and it seems to work better. the only bad thing (as it was already with PES) is that players rotate positions when you change formation on the fly (Ximenes, leftfooter, goes to the right side for example)

about the shooting: i never played WE6 so i can't tell, but i find the shooting in PES2 much more difficult than in PES. in PES you'd more or less just pull the stick to either side run full speed ahead and the guy would slot it into the far corner. in PES2 this more often than not means missing the goal, or shooting it into the clouds. you have to be way more exact in strength and direction... good thing, actually.

As ive been playing WE6 for so long it seems a lot easier to me. It might still be harder then PES, I can't remember

I always stick with 3-4-3 so my players are in the right positions! I would play 4 up front if it let me I could make my own formation I suppose. The more people attacking the better!

Shooting is easier than it was in PES(easier than we6 also), u just have to get used to it.
I played we6 for 5 months and after a lot of training i found a way to control it really good:

-In PES if i was playing from left to right(facing the goal)and i wanted to shoot to the left of the keeper i would press square and pull the stick back(to my lef that is). However this never felt quit right and if i wanted to place to the right of the keeper it wasn't that efective as most of the the stick would be all the way to forward(to my right).
For some reason in we6 and ended up using another teknic that i still use in PES2 with great success. Instead of pulling the stick or pushing it forward i just rotate it. Example:

I'm facing the goal(playing from right to left) and i want to place the ball to the right of the kepper. With the stick al the way forward(to my right that is) i press square and just rotate the stick to clockwise. Obviously if i want to place it to the left of the keeper i rotate it counter clockwise. This way u get a much better feeling and it's pretty easy once u get the hang of it.

well i agree that it is "easier" in the way that the buttons are way more sensitive than in PES. now just tipping a button quickly will fire away a gunner.

what i meant though, is that in PES it somehow seemed a little more forgiving where exactly you would hold the left stick at while shooting. that's why in a way it seemed "easier" (to me at least) to score.

in PES2 it seems it depends much more on the precise angle of the left stick whether you hit or miss. since i am used to PES a lot of shots missed, because i used the left stick sloppily (as i would in PES)

ive won the konami cup with an team so i unlocked the teamnames but when i do change liverpool into the correct name fom the list is still hear no team chants only just the basic things no Li-ver-pool etc. can you help me dunno how i can turn the chants on...?

Thats all you get...the basic chants. I guess if they couldn't get the rosters right, they aren't going to go round every ground in the world and sample the crowd . I seem to remember the crowds sounding better in WE6 though.
