hi Matt.. I'm confuse abt wat u r trying to put it... I got the game just last weekend from the store in Singapore , not downloaded frm the net.... do u mean the copy I got is not complete ?? but its in the Original Box set ! ...

if u say the game is 100% complete and sitting in the warehse, do u mean it is complete with features that I'm missing with my copy such as "LAN-play" , "direct-IP" connection..etc..

thanx for clarifying ... I bought the game coz we hv a leage and would like to start off using fifa2004 instead of fifa2003... hope EA don't disappoint us again ....

it has always been like that. the asia pacific region releases EA games earlier than other regions.. maybe this year was an exception.. germany's first..

Well there will be a official patch released by EA to fix many problems including Direct Ip. So not much to worry. Also Creation Centre will be for download as well soon enough.

havet been aroudn these foroms since fifa 2003 and i remeber it having the game simulation..
this morning i recived my fifa 04 and i decide to play a turnament , evrything was cool in choosing teams and everything and then after playing a couple of matches I dedicd to test my luck on the simulation..
but I couldnt find the simulation option ..
has it been removed? or is there a place in the game i can simulate,, thanx..

All the Asia Pacific versions of EA games are manufactured and distributed to all the stores by EA Singapore........ pls don't go shooting off without any credibility or evidence.
Just because we get it one week earlier doesn't mean someone was naughty. It's EA's decision....

ya.. no one's naughty.. if they are really naughty, they can't be naughty ever year. they were good this year coz germany got the game first... and anyway tis is not being naughty.. most of the games are released earlier in singapore than in other countries..

Yah..it's pretty weird.. cos I think the game was out a few days ago in Singapore..and you knw..we're a pretty small country, so practically all the retailers will be stocked up in like ONE day.

I bought the game yesterday and when I heard you guys talking abt it not being the REAL deal..man, I was worried. BUt glad Matt cleared it up. It's really funny that a patch is gonna be realised for a game which isn't even out in some countries. Ha ha...

Sigh.. if only EA had fixed everything in in the first place. It's quite irritating to know that your game isn't complete and that you have to fix it up with patches even though the producers are supposed to ensure that the game is of excellent quality before releasing it. For that, I'm disappointed although I still support FIFA games.

I feel sorry for the poor buggers that have it on the PS2, an absolute disgrace! EA should be ashamed of themselves.

Don't blame EA, blame the guys who were here rushing them to get the game done, if you didn't want a buggy game you should've kept the "RELEASE THE GAME ALREADY" comments to yourselves, don't blame EA.
