To all new players of the WE/PES Master League.
Post any questions you have on the ML you might have in here as to keep all discussion centralized within the forum. I as well as the many other experienced WE/PES players here can answer your questions (hopefully)!
I noticed some confusion about ML transfers. Let me try to explain a bit here and there:
Starting off the ML, as noticed, you have a group of nobodies to be begin with. All players on the original roster become free transfer players, simply meaning, they don't have a club to play for. These players can be found by selecting "transfers" searching by "team" and selecting the flag with an "E" on it. This will list all players in the game who do not currently play on a club team.
Acquiring players:
All players will require a transfer fee, whether they are on a club or not. An exception to this is when a players contract has just ended and have not resigned. During this short period (the transfer period that occurs late in ones season) players can be signed without having to pay these transfer fees! This is called the Bosman rule!
Trying to buy a player:
Once you have decided on a player to buy, an offer arrives to you from that player and team. It will list on the left side, the players asking salary and the asking transfer fee, the right side is left up to you how much you are willing to pay for this player. As a note, You most likely will have to up the players asked salary as well as the asked transfer fee. Each player is different, so you will have to experiment and decide how much you are willing to buy a player for.
You can also trade your players for players on other clubs, this works well if you are strapped for cash and would like to send off teammates for more solid players!
Also, in your ML stup menu, how you have your transfer setting will also dictate how often transfers occur, how easily it is to aquire players, and the overall transfer AI. I play on 2* 4* 2* which is almost realistic, maybe changing the first 2* to 1* will make it the most realistic.
