Many new kitmakers are havin` trouble workin` with collars. Little that they know, the answer of the collar mistery is right in front of their eyes
The Kit Raptor is the answer. Does KR 2005 got an export button like the previous KR ? If it does, then use it. The export button was made for a certain purpose. There are different collar types in FIFA. They`re divided into three main categories : round collars ( Brazil, Man U kits, etc ), V collar ( usually on Adidas kits ), and a folded collar ( like the one in the Bayern Muenchen home kit ). Each of this collar has its own unique 3D geometry, and for that reason, each of them needs to be drawn uniquely as well.
And how do we draw it ? At which point should we start ? That, my friend, you need to use the "Export" button. Just export any EA`s default kits with a certain collar type you wanna draw. For example, if you wanna make a Bayern Muenchen home kit, just export the Ea`s default BM home kit and make your collar base on it. Resize the EA`s kit into 512 X 1024 in Adobe, and use it as a basic layer to draw your collar.
To make your collar looks more realistic, you can add inner shadows effects in the inside part of the collars, or puttin price tags and ****s like that. Tough it won`t be visible in game, it will give an extra accesories to your work. It`s like puttin` a final touch of chocolate crisps on an ice cream.
I must remind you tough, that eventough EA`s default collars are usually fits the geometry, some of them are not correct. For example, the new Adidas kits collar are in form of a V collar with a small curves on each side, but EA`s made them in the form of round collars. This is where you need to inovate a bit. And also, I don`t think the Nike kits made by EA in game are correct. The curves on the front part of the kit are too straight.
