Tired of goalie deflection ball speeds rebounding like a rocket!!!

So are you tired of the goalie deflection ball speeds rebounding off the goalie like a rocket?

Well i sure know that i was. That is, until i made some changes!

Open up the AI.INI file found inside the data\cmn\ini.big file.

Then find the following settings...

GOALIE_CONSERVATIVE_DEFLECTION_SPEED = 12
GOALIE_FLAMBOYANT_DEFLECTION_SPEED = 20
GOALIE_BAD_DEFLECTION_SPEED = 8

and change these settings too....

GOALIE_CONSERVATIVE_DEFLECTION_SPEED = 6
GOALIE_FLAMBOYANT_DEFLECTION_SPEED = 10
GOALIE_BAD_DEFLECTION_SPEED = 4

I split the settings in half, and it is very realistic now.

When was the last time you saw a goalie deflect the ball off his knee, and the deflection goes 20 yards up field?
