Time Capsule...Liverpool Finally Win!

So I've waited 19 years to of SG membership to finally celebrate a league win with Liverpool - never would have thought it would take this long!

SG has obviously changed a bit in that time, but good to see some familiar members still around posting.

19 years ago the season just finished ended with United on top, Arsenal second and Liverpool third (remember the big 3 - pre Chelsea's cash?). Leeds United and their team full of Aussies were 4th (in their first year of missing a Champions League by one spot, which led to their demise when it happened again the next season)...Then Ipswich Town 5th!

Manchester City were 18th and relegated, alongside Coventry and Bradford...Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was leading goal scorer ahead of Marcus Stewart, Thierry Henry, Mark Viduka and Michael Owen! How times have changed!

I've gone from my final year of high school in country NSW (Aus), via Uni in Canberra, 2 years in London, back to Canberra and various jobs - now nearly ten years (and Long Service Leave!) into a career with the one company (after a few false starts).

What's your SG story? How has football changed since you've been here?
