thw wolf patch and the over.afs?? and "North London" ?

official dat folder would have a file called over.afs

, while install the wolf 2005 we8i patch, the content only have those afs files and opmov, except the over.afs.

so, anyone know that, should i keep the official over.afs in the dat folder, or just delete it??

as the over.afs should be containing non-updated datas, right??
i dunno the use of over.afs, anyone could tell??

i have tried removing it, and the game still be ok to run........


also,i wonder would it affect online mode ??

(recently, i noticed that, when using wolf patch play with fds using same patch, the "NORTH LONDON" etc, team name , still exist.......am i having any problems? or the wolf patch is supposed to be like that?)

Shouldn't need to touch the over.afs file.

If you still see North London instead of Arsenal (etc) then the patch isn't installed properly. Go back and check his readme file to be sure you did each step correctly. Also make sure you have his latest version x option file (search forums, is a post on it quite high up).

Not certain, but I think that the North London glitch is either because you don't have the right option file in the save folder, or because you didn't import tha para_we8.bin file into the 0_text.afs. Again, check his readme.

for the over.afs, u say not need to touch, so u mean the official one should be kept in dat folder?or u mean that file should not be there??


and, i have all things follwed the step,

i first applied wolf 2005 we8i patch(0_sound.afs, e_sound.afs, e_text.afs,opmov)

then,
,The Wolf - Final FM2005 Update WE8I PC (0_text.afs)

lastly , applied the option x file + para_we8.bin(updated the 0_text.afs with new ver x optionfile's para_we8.bin to import in 0_text)

and then surely put the opt file into folder1.


the result is, surely the console mode match, ml, edit mode etc

all are ok and with all updated data, real names...real team names...

that show the para is applied and effectively working....

however when online, still north london........how come......

my fd and i using exactly the same things, (as i send him the whole we8i folder to replace...)

If you did all the above steps as you describe them correctly then I'm not sure what's up. Anyone else able to help here?

wolf and "real name" online

for me too !!!!

ml and console mode match are ok ....
but online mode is not with real team name ???

Why ??? it's normal ???

it is so strange......

if the console mode match,ml and edit mode with correct team name, transfer and names, that shows para_we8.bin is really having effects (sure, because it is imported properly into the 0_text.afs)

then come to the online mode, transfer seems ok, but the team name is still "North London" for arsenal , and etc......

i wonder who don't have this problem ??

is that normal that online mode could not have real team names??
anyone see the ARSENAL for ARSENAL when ONLINE???

i now realized that, the ultimate problem should come from the EXE~!!!!!


that is, all wolf content is applied properly , and the team names, transfer, names, etc, all shows properly in console mode,


there is no faults as i think


but when come to online, the exe (which contain built in team dats..) would force the team name be official ones, the result is online mode would should north london etc....


u people using wolf patch , who is showing arsenal when online??
i really wonder....

so, maybe wolf should release a patch for editing the exe,


who have more comments to advice????too?
