The answer is NO! Cos with great patches from socceraccess, you wouldn't be missin' much in terms of gameplay. The game would be an utter waste of yer 40 bucks and to give you another reason - WE6 is comin' out 1 day before FIFA! That means, all you needa do is get a god damn PS emulator which costs $0 and buy a much better game for the same price.

Yeah but, What about the superb graphics? The new great faces? The new celebrations? The new stadiumns?. I´m not saying socceraccess sucks, on the opposite, Socceraccess makes the best patches but, I think I´m keeping with WC2002.

No offence to FX guys, but really I think that FIFA FX has lots of bugs. When I installed the patch, sometimes the kits would go lack and stuff. Also, FX doesnt include cinematics etc, and the FX patch is bigger then Ariels if I remember correctly. The real groups, Ariel has said ,could have been included, but this would make the patch sooo much bigger, just not worth it. Also I think FIFAFX is harder to use. Ariel has IGGEx, and also I like the kits better(although this last one is definatley debatable.
Why exactly do u think the stadiums are better??
The thing is with FX, it is really just replacing and backing up files over default EA ones, so u can change back to them. The SA WC patch has everything included. You dont have to select which teams ur going to use before u play either, like u do in FIFAFX. You still get Captains arm bands, without doing that. yes u can select a team so u get IGGEx, and National Anthems, but atleast u can get captains arm bands.
Basically Ariel has made his as an actual patch for FIFA 2002. the FX one, is like lots of little things put together by FIFA FX, but u cant use all of them at once. I hope I exlpained this propely.
