My answer to all of u who bashed me :
i have played all of the fifa titles starting from fifa 98
i always thought that the fifa series was the best. u can say that i was kind of loyal to this game but like i said in my post i feel like i have been betrayed by ea. this game is for kids if for anything . i mean is this some super mario rpg game? where u have to unlock a special weapon. damn this is a football game gimme all the teasm give me everything else. a lot of you kids might not see this but its very self imposing by ea to make us play with teams that we dont want to. where is the choice in that. they are controlling who we should play with and when.
this is not how i want a video game. i play with whomever i want whenver i want , in the weather i want and wirth the jersey i want

wat's the point of forcing us to play with little teams?
whether we buy the game and play only with big teams or only play with one team, they still get their money right?
maybe it's my character or my personality but i dont like that idea one bit.

this is a game for kids and for video game fans who have no prior knowledge of what football is. even one of the reviews i read said that some of the moves where out of this world .. this game doesn't emulate real life game play wise. its as made for kids to see how many moves they coul do and be happy afterwards.

like i said before im updating my fifa 04 there no point in buying 05 they are more or less the same graphics and very erocentric(africans and other foreigners who live in europe & usa buy this game too you know ). i'll download the faces ,jerseys , stadiums , transfers ect ...ect...

If you plan to stick with FIFA 2004 then I don't see why you wouldn't buy FIFA 2005. It is improved in almost every way over FIFA 2004.

And if you want to play with a bigger team you can, just not at the start of career mode.

But if you don't want to buy it then that's your decision.

Brohoufla, that was the worst crap I've ever heard. It's okay to critisize a game, but you really should be on another forum.

Why do people still not understand that names, teamnames, international teamnames, faces, adds and stadiums (in short: graphics) are based on lisences. You don't have the lisence, you don't get to put it in the game....so that's no reason to slam FIFA2005, because it is by far the game with the most lisences around. And don't take it out on EA Sports if you're favourit team, squad, playerface or stadium isn't in the game, but on the one who refuses to give away the lisence.
Yes, I'm frustrated that Holland isn't in the game, but need I remind you that 2 or 3 years ago it was impossible to get a single official Brazilian name in the game? You see the improvement....?

As far as unlockables and career-mode is concerned: I think it's something worth playing for. EA Sports knows, everybody wants to play with Man U., Juventus or Barcelona, or whatever....and in fact you still can. But this time you really gotta play a worthwhile time, to end up at the team you really want to manage. That's good thinking from EA Sports: at least they know their product will be used, more than only once. What do you want to do? Play a couple of games and wait for the first editor to arrive.

I do have same problems with gameplay (the defence is standing off, really far), but it's no reason to call the ea sports team a bunch of betrayers. I think you're the one, with eyes in the back of your head. You do have a point with the editing of teams and players, within the game, though. Apart from the play on the field and the somewhat dissapointing Dutch commentary, this is the best FIFA I've played in years. And I can tell, because I've get them all!! I even still have FIFA 95, somewhere on a floppy disc....

its funny how moderators work in this forum:

1 - if you make topics like this "i´m not buying fifa or i don´t like this game" the topic is closed but if you make "this year fifa rocks or i´m buying fifa this year" there is no problem, so what is you definition of "pointless thread".

2 - this forum is this one with more closed threads ever in SG history maybe you should calm down closing threads.

Haha. What are you talking about? Is this thread closed?

There are only 3 closed threads on the first page at the moment, and none have to do with criticising FIFA.
