From all the threads i read here and by playing the demo i can only conclude that euro 2004 will be my last of the fifa series.
not only do i feel enraged but i also feel betrayed by ea sports' fifa team.

this game is not far a true football fan like me.
oh my how i envy those who are nba, nfl, nhl and mlb fans.
they will get a truly authentic game year in and year out. the producer of their games really know what the fans want.

here is a list my problem with fifa
1. every year when u think they are going to improve on an aspect of a game u like they take it off.
2. it is awfully stupid to unlock things such as stadiums and features such as nights, referees ct.
a true football fan wants to start a season with any team he likes .
he wants to see all the jersey of his teams and all the stadiums.
if we should unlock any stadiums it should be a generic ones.
for example in fifa 2004 for x box i never got to unlock the stadiums of bayern and roma ect. because the bio wasn't functioning
3. a true football fans want to start a season just like they had in fifa 02-03. where the fixtures were real just like in real life and where on fifa 2003 u were able to play the uefa cup if you were third place in the champions league.
4. the specific faces are extremely eurocentric
some world class players do not have a specific face 'cause they are not european
for example ( kaka , toure)
5.the shooting is garbage( when an oppostion player is pressuring you can only shoot lightly )
6. the fact that i cannot pick any team i want for the career mode.
7. no editing of teams
8. i promess you if we keep allowing fifa to make us unlock stadiums jersey and the likes ,
in the next fifa game we will be unlocking teams such as man u , arsenal or milan.
9 i hate the unlock mode
when there wasn't unlockable it did not make me play fifa any less. cause i 'm a true footie fan
10. i hate the fact that they can not put all international teams in the game like in fifa 98(the best game ever.

the fifa teams has lost heir minds are dont kow who their marketing advisors are or what their problem is but they let me down

ALll that is left for me to do is to update my fifa 04
my $55 are staying in my pocket

yeah but m8 all of your topics are retarded, Unlocking it adds another aspec to the game. More fun.
Shooting lighting when under pressure makes sense more realistic if you dont like realism go play PES for extreeme fake football.
Not all international teams are in coz some suck. And its allready got most clubs in, the game would be too big.
They took nothing off from fifa04 infact they added more on and imporooved stuff.
Start a season with any team you like, yeah do it go play a league. Career mode is a nice thing Makes you earn the right to play as a good team, I like it.
A true football fan wants to see seasons real fixtures, Im quite happy and im a "true Football fan" dont try to speak for the magority when your bull ****ting you make us all look like twats.
You hate unlocking things, then thats your problem not EA's
Euro was a crap game, too cartoony.

well i can see where a lot of your complaints are more personal opinion, and thats totally up to you. but with starting as any team you want....well think about it...

if you were to announce that you were going to be a manager and try to get a club to sign you, do you think chelsea, man U, etc. would be chomping at the bit to fire their manager and hire you instead even though you have no experience? i understand that you want to take your fav. team to glory, but just play a few seasons with a crappy team, getting them built up, and then that one day, when you get the offer from chelsea, wont it be that much more memorable?

if you think about it that way, the feature isnt that bad. however, most of your complaints are opinion based, and obviously the game isnt for you.

I like the unlock mode, you dont really miss out on anything with it, you just get more from the game.

So i dont really know wtf you are moaning about. The game has alot of other errors/bugs and missing parts then just the unlock mode.

and omg at u people moaning and yelling at each other saying "BUT IM A TRUE FOOTBALL FAN!" everyone is a fan in they own way and everyone has the right to say what the think, but u cant say only true football fans think the way you think, cos thats just bolloxs and u will learn that one day.

The world is really taking a turn for the worst when people begin to get so lazy that they don't even bother to experience something first hand.

No wonder obeseity is a growing issue...

And brouhafla, how about puting your post in the appropriate part of the forum? You definetly posted something very reminiscent of PES vs FIFA, or just general FIFA bashing.

i don't understand why in any fifa games is when u play ageinst cpu, the cpu dosent make any substitut joing the game? thats so unreallystic.

and when u cross the ball from the wings ther is only 1sticker in the box,
and hardly u can score with ur midfild player in f05.
and i don't like the defens in f05 they stay very deep, and they live the srickers unmarked thats so stupid.
the game overall is not bad mutch better then f04, but thy still need to work alot with the gameplay department, like FK, u should be able to pass or cross joing the FK , CK the worst CK at any football game ever(CK in Fifa98 they where mutch better) u don't need becham to take CKs, u can cross with Sou Cambell if u want, coz it want change any thing (N) automatic CK.

first time volley its crap it need to look more realystic, with alots more animation depending witch position u are, same with the shooting.

talking abut graphic in fifa 2005 i don't think the game look bad, but i notes that when u play with tel camera u miss things fro the game, like Davids got short hair, Ruy costa with normal soks insted of low soks,etc but when u zoom the camera every thing is fine strange?
most of the famus player havent got they real face, some faces look good some of them look very bad. shame we can't edit them in edit mode like face, hair, bots, bandegs, socks size, hight, weight,etc.:(

All this is bullcrap dude. I mean some of your reasons not to buy fifa 2005 are not even based on facts. Try to do some research before you talk about something cuz some of the things you wrote down are possible in fifa 2005 like editing team. So move your a$$ a little bit and do research cuz EA is not gonna do everything for you. I mean they have the option to do it.

This thread are pointlesse, pure bash... if you don't like don't play, simply as that, EA don't make you buy it, it's not written in the bible that you have to buy it, stop with this ridiculous and pointless threads people, i think theres appropriated places when you can show your opinion about the game, there's a sticky thread to that, why make another one? Do you need atention? Do you feel you have to alert people? LOL, i play cause i like and it's not your opinion that will make me stop playing the game...
