Anyone here bring *HUGE* banners to games? If so,

1. Do you make your own banners or go somewhere to get them made?
2. How much does it cost? What is considered reasonable price/rip-off and for what sizes(dimensions)

Any other advice would be appreciated.

ok, maybe not HUGE like what I see in some pics, but at least 5feet in height, width about 10 feet. (1 foot = 12 inches)

My support group just got 2 banenrs made in Poland becuase our leader was born in Poland and knows a guy.

Here is what they look like:



I actually designed the first one. There is another banner they we had made that was bigger than both of those. The total cost for all 3 was $600. I di the actual size of them, those are pics from the guy that made them. When they arrive here I will take pictures of them at the next game.

Why does it have the Bulgarian flag if the leader is from Poland? :(

You're never going to win anything with a Bulgarian flag.......just ask any Bulgarian about Sweden...or Croatia. (H)

Well it depends if u want the lettering/design hand painted or stitched onto the banner/flag! If you paint one you can do it yourself at home with acryliv paint and very thick material so that the paint doesny seep through and you wont see it through the other side!

well we got the idea for the first one from the che guevara guy. The player is Bulgarian, and is a very good player, with a nice freekick, you can check out some of his gaols on http://www.stoianmladenov.com/ which he actually did win us a league title in 2000 by scoring the only 2 goals of the game, so the Bulgarian stays.

The dimensions of the banners are 6x7 for the first one, 4.5x5 for the second and another is 29x5.5, and all of these dimensions are in feet.

I want to make some banners too coz i m going to the United - Hong Kong game on 23/7. However, i m not going to make and bring such huge banners...i just want to bring some smaller ones. :p

Banner in Barça Stadium Camp Nou "FERNANDO MARTIN, DRAZEN PETROVIC, JUANITO ... LAUDRUP you are the next!"

*Fernando Martin: Real Madrid Basketball player, 1st spanish in playing in NBA, died in car accident
*Drazen Petrovic: ex Real Madrid Yugoslavian Basket player, maybe the best one of europe of all times, died in car accident.
*Juanito: Important player of Real Madrid of 70-80's, died in car accident.

One week later :

Banner in Madrid Stadium Santiago Bernabeu "DI STEFANO, CRUYFF, PELE, MARADONA ... LAUDRUP you are the next!"

rope, thats what we use over here. and the banners, we make them ourselves with paint. nothing beats originality (H)

and gagiz, man you're just not good at understanding stuff :|

We use duct tape to hold our falgs up on the railings, we put an enlgand fladg up today and put a 7 on each side of the cross im rememberence.
