well, apart from Cocu (I gave him a higher rating too) I think those 4 are about equally as good so far.

all i said was that he was the best Porto player, the reason for the 10 out of 10 , and that he is underrated. what's your problem?

hasn't really impressed me. Only against PSV he did good. I still think Stekelenburg is better

Hatem Trabelsi - 8
Had a great comeback after his contract problems.

Zdenek Grygera -7
Solid, much better ATM then Heitinga

Julien Escude -7
Same as Grygera

Maxwell - 7,5
Not as good as last season but still he's great

Wesley Sneijder - 7+
Sometimes important for the team but should be a bit less arrogant

Tomas Galesek - 8,5
Good, strong and important for the team

Rafael van der Vaart - 7+
Comes back from a crappy season still not who he was though

Mauro Rosales - 8
Koeman's best signing ever

Ryan Babel - 8
Future star

Nourdin Boukhari - 6
Sometimes good sometimes crap.

Cech -8- not really had that much to do all season but has been there when needed. Good start to his first season in England .

Ferriera -7.5- Not made the most dramatic start to the season but has been solid defensively and good going forward.

Johnson -5.5- NOt played many games and when does play he looked uncomfortable at times (Moscow away). Not as good as Ferriera

Huth -NA- not played enough

Terry -9.5- Superb yet again this season. Taken on the role as captain and you would think he has been doing it for years. Keeps the defence organised. I can't remember him missing a tackle or header yet and has scored some crucial goals too.

Gallas -8.5- Spent much of the season at left back where he is brilliant defensively but has not been a force going forward. Partnered JT in defence at times and the partnership is still as good as last year.

Carvalho -7.5- Still not totally sure he is a better partner for JT than Gallas is. Has had some brilliant games (was my MOM for the first 60mins againt Newcastle) but has been caught out of position at times (Henrys first a couple of weeks ago) and his judgement isnt perfect.

Bridge -6.5- Injury and loss of form this season so not many games and nowhere near last seasons level of performance overall. But has given the defence better balance when playing and much more of an attacking force than Gallas (think of the Newcastle game when he came on). Improved in the last few weeks

Babayaro -5.5- solid defender and can be relied on but not quite good enough for an extended run in the team- Gallas and Ferriera have played at left back instead of him this season.

Tiago -8- Settled in well and has now made himself first choice along side Maka and Lampard. Comfortable on the ball and reasonable defensively, puts in the hard work which allows lampard to go forward more in recent weeks.

Makalele -7.5- Nothing spectacular but then he never is, played well and has done his lob.

Lampard -9- poor by his own standards at the start of the season but now as important as ever. Back into the habit of scoreing and is running games from midfield. Best central midfielder in the Premiership?

Parker -7- Not played many games but has been good enough when called upon.

Geremi -5- Not played many games and not really good enough to play for a top of the table team.

Cole -6.5- Good start to the season but has been frozen out since the return of Duff and Robben.

Smertin -7- No longer a first choice like at the start of the season but has been playing well when given the opportunity.

Duff -9- Has been superb since coming back form injury. Scoring and creating goals and working wonderfully in the 4-3-3/4-5-1 formation.

Robben -9.5- Probably player of the season so far. Massive impact on the premiership. We knew he was good but not this good. Onnly missed out on a 10 because of his habit of diving.

Gudjohnsen -8.5- Scored his first hattrick and now regularly scoring in games thanks to Duff and Robben. Best striker so far.

Drogba -8- Good start but disrupted by injury and now having to rebuild his season. Not as impressive since coming back, but is having to play himself into form. Still not totally convinced he was worth £24m but a brilliant player when on form.

Kezman -7- Works so hard it is unbelievable. Incredibly unlucky. I have been at the Bridge for both of his goals this season and the fans reactions have been superb, we all know how hard he wants to succeed here.


Jose Mourinho -10- Top of the league, new formation, scoring goals for fun, winning the mind games- what more can he do?
