IGN's article

"Approaching 90 minutes, down a goal, a shot at the Cup on the line. Coach is screaming at you, even your teammates are screaming at you: get the ball to your stars. In crunch time in the upcoming 2006 FIFA World Cup, you'll need to play to your strengths if you want to play in Berlin, and that means utilizing the best players in the world and using their unique abilities to put the ball in the net. Send speedster Michael Owen a deep through ball and let him run to it. Dribble down the wing with Ronaldinho, cross with Beckham, head it home with Crespo.

EA's broken down the star players into eight categories and we've got the top ten players in each, doing what they do best.

I hope this kinda sorting will help you out, cheers.

You've done a great job of picking players but may I request Henrik Larsson as clinical finisher for Sweden?

BTW, that list hasn't got all the stars there, but only IGN's selected top10 of those star abilities :jambo:

Harry Kewell the Fastest player in the game, and the best dribbler... he is my favourite player and he is a great dribbler and pretty fast, but that's a bit unrealistic.

Great to see Tim Cahill and Viduka there as well.

Zidane is not a pass master but a long shot specialist according to EA :kader:
It's surely very difficult to pick 10 players pro skill but forgetting Zidane is truly laughable. Everybody knows the influence of ZZ in the french team

Many things could have been better in this list but I need to say it is a very interesting concept, which if enhanced / further developed in the future could be awesome.

Landon Donovan in the bunch with "dribble kings", and no Zinedine Zidane?

I mean, he may be old, but for FUC.K SAKE, HE IS FUC.KIN FIFTH MOST GLORIOUS FOOTBALLER OF ALL FUC.KIN TIME (officially).

GO EA, GO.
