The worst PES ever, PES5

The title say it all.. this is the worst PES series ever, so, dont buy it.. I feel very disappointed to spend my money. Its a complete waste.. This game has the most unbalanced PES series. The computer AI was very2 intelligent but your player AI is just like a stupid 6 years old people playing football. Even though u can control ur player (with cursor) good, but your teammates sux. The dont even find an empty space, they dont run.. and with 1 2 pass, they run like a sissy boy.. very disappointing. and one more thing, i dont know how to challenged cpu player, they seems to has a shield surrounding them. how faster u run, u cant never get to them, and if u had it, the bribe ref will blow the whistle for a foul, wtf?? they cut our pass just like they are 22 man inside the field. U cant never hold the ball more than 5 seconds, but the cpu can control the ball from midfield to your goal.. actually, if u play against human, the game is good, but not the cpu.. they sux..
i played the cup mode, even i won the cup, but i never won a game beside penalty shootout.. i think if u play for 20 games against cpu, youll be draw 19/20.. and the other 1 is either u won or lost.. hahaha.. if anyone can teach me how to beat this GOD MODE CPU, please post it here.. i tried everything!!! from crosses, solo, and long range.. none of them useful.. i can score only with penalty and freekick.. please anyone can teach me.. i want to win, because i paid for it.. i dont pay to lose.. the suxest pes game ever..

is there any news on a option file editor yet for PES5? If there is one to be released soon that'd be nice then I can work on my global editing project as I usually do. i'm sure that will help the gameplay immensely.

Man, you just think this is PES4...the way we could score goals in PES4 was too much easy...PES4 is just counter-attack, counter-attack. Sure it is/was a lot of fun. But I find out that I can't play PES5 the way I did in PES4...in this one...the way you play is more complex.
-You can't break in the middle? Take the ball to the wings.
-Their defense is too high? Through balls.
-0-0 in the last 10 min of the game, their team is 11 behind the ball...you have a FK specialist? Try to win a foul in the 25m.
-You have a 2,00 m player? Just send high balls and play direct football.
-You can't control the game? Try to balance the team and make some passing in the defensive midfield.

In this game these little factors do influence a lot. I can tell that. Study the opponents...where are their weaknesses, mark their best players, don't just pressure, antecipate, you just got to develop a new way of playing. At least I did. And in 5 stars I am getting awesome result for my Sporting ML...I won 7-1 just yesterday to RCB Roosendaal...I have lost 1 match in 10, and it was in the 2nd leg of the cup...1-2 (3-2 agg). I have had every type of results. 0-0, 1-0, 2-1, 3-1, 3-0...

This game is so much more real. I love it. Best PES so far.

the game is exactly like real life football - and i feel that's why many don't like it. If you play it correctly - making sure your team is up for a physical battle you'll have no problems.

Also - i think many players constantly try through balls, and take no time to build things up. If you just have patience, pass the ball about the back line and actually involve all your players instead of just a few - goals come.

Formation also plays a big part in how you cope with the CPU - find a formation that suits your players and your squad

2. Sure its childish to open up "The new PesX sucks, worst ever,.." etc
but gets my nerves when others reply 'ok, play fifa' 'your a noob' 'thats
cause u suck' 'stop complaining' etc etc.

- Forget about Fifa. we dont play it, we dont want to play it, we just
want our pes to get better and better. Dont be a fanboy.

I mean is it forbiden or something to write down our complains? jeez.
I also dont get that 'practice' advice. You, me, all of us either had
played-still play football or at least have watched football for years.

And by that i mean that we know the 'game'. So.. when a new pes
arrives i dont actually need practice really.. sure 10-15 games to get
used to it, but practice?? You may practice free kicks or something but
not the whole game..the whole game is football and we know all about it.

So to the point... if the players have crappy control of the ball, if they
need like 2 seconds to turn around, if you pass them and they jump to let
the ball go through while they souldnt cause the touchline is in front,
if i try my best not to make a foul like the others are sissies or something
but on contast cpu keeps pushing me all the time with no foul or getting
the ball pronto, etc etc....
...well that doesnt mean i need practice..it means thats the way the
game is. And so by practice i understand it to adjust myself to the flaws
of the game.

We cant be all blind or something. Every pes has its flaws and for me
its like every year they fix some things but foock some others. For example
once you couldnt tackle without getting a foul..you had to be very precise,
while the other method ,pressure X, was ok. Now in pes5 its the complete
opposite, X pressure is a no-no but tackles are fine. Cant they find the
balance for one time... they always foock something.. handballs..keepers
not moving..you name it.

Thats the truth and we all know it. I just hope they'll find the balance
in the feature meaning getting realism one step further but carefully,
while adding more licences, teams, cup options etc.

Passing system and is great this year, dribbling - just the opposite.
My biggest gripe is that there isn't much meaning in dribble accuracy, tehnique stats because all players control the ball the same way - crappy. What's the point of Maradona having 99 dribb. acc. if he can't dribble a shat. Even getting past a single medicore defender is something of a rare miracle in Pes5. Why did they made everyone so clumsy? Players like Ronaldinho regulary dribbles past 2-3 Ds several times in a match so it must be possible in Pes too. Yes, it should be hard to do but possible.

My complain is that you can't feel the difference between good and bad dribblers, just like in fifa. In Pes4/We8 if I controlled Ronaldinho or Maradona I was like ''wow, how did he do that'', now it's impossible to dribble past more than one defender with those players. Cpu's defenders would either stick the leg in and ball goes crazy or he will foul you - can't make any beautiful dribbles past several defenders. Not that I want to do that all the time like in We8, but at least sometimes I would expect some fancy slaloms from great dribblers.

They're bloody intelligent. They hold defensive lines to catch you offside, intercept your passes, congest the midfield. If you're drawing a lot of games, it's down to you not making the most of your chances. My biggest win on 4*?

It's all about timing. PES5 now means you have to make defending into an artform.

You're effectively having a whinge at being so poor at the game. Christ, it's not the CPU's fault you're ****e at it. You can't hold down the sprint buttons anymore. A good run is down to a decent first touch as much as it's down to simply barging past them.

Your argument holds about as much water as a bucket with the bottom cut out of it.
