This is a small file so if anybody could host this temporarily it would be cool.

This patch is to be applied using AFS Explorer to the e_sound.afs file in your dat folder. Full instructions are included in the READ ME.txt document. So far this is just for the English version of the game. I will try to make versions for the other languages in the game if I get time next week.

This patch adds the team call names (by Peter Brackley) to PES4 PC. In previous versions of Pro Evolution Soccer and Winning Eleven, many teams actually had their proper call names.
For some reason PES3 & PES4 left these call names out. This patch includes extracted team call names from the previous games and inserts them into PES4 PC. These are real call names,
not obviously created fake sound files.

The teams this patch fixes the call names for are:

Yeah, but that won't be for a long, long time. I'm just gonna release a new option file after the transfer window and then no more big patches until after the release of Winning Eleven 8: International on the PC in the Spring.

Players like Ibrahimovic, ugly players?

You guys have to specific with ur requests at least, hell u are requesting him to do hard work, u can at least give him a little more details.

Also, we have to have Peter Brackley say some of those names which is quite hard.

You know what'd be nice, if someone could record some of the games Peter Barckley commentates on , we could prolly get some names that way.

Either way, u can just insert some guy saying Ibrahimovic, it's quite odd and destroys the game.

But it'd be nice if Wolf would give us a guide on inserting our own home-made WAVE files that we recorded saying the names into the game (of course we'd be replacing)

Yeah, but foremost get the right rosters. Ive done rosters with a guy called Owen for like 900 players for NHL 2005. I really want to get something done with right attributes for PES 4 too.

Wolf your sound patch is absolutely great, but please could you include the call name for Birmingham. Eventhough you stated that there is no call name for Birmingham, there actually is in Pro Evolution Soccer 3. The problem at the moment is that its calling West Midlands City and I would like Peter to say Birmingham instead. If you could do this I would be grateful.

then just extract the files from PES3 and import them in the e_sound.afs
why do you have to get Wolf to do it? Unless you are just informing him for future?
