They're in the e_text.afs

Use Graphics studio to browse the .afs to see which backgrounds are where. You can extract and overwrite them.

Which file has the main menu background and icons?

It is all in the e_text.afs file. I am unsure exactly what files are the background ones, but if you use Graphics Studio you can see a preview of the graphic and find the ones you want to swap out. An exact list of the necessary files might be useful if anyone knows it, but I do not.

There were a lot actually bud but I didn't really keep an exact record of them. The easiest thing to do is actually open two copies of Graphics Studio and open the new e_text.afs and the original e_text.afs. That way you can scroll through both easily and see which ones you want to change back and it's easy just to export either the .bmp or the .bin and reimport it into the other .afs

Thanks, one thing I noticed (looking with afs explorer) when I imported some of the old stuff, I had to resize it. Did you make some of the spaces smaller or something so it would be smaller altogether?

No, this is one of the mysteries with Graphics Studio, I think it automatically resizes slots within the overall size of the .afs. So, when you put a graphic in one slot, it will decrease the size of the slot of the graphic you imported was smaller in size. That then leaves more space in other slots to play with. I don't really understand it too well so I used to export the .bin files and use WE Picture Decoder to do my insertions of the individual .bmps and then simply reinsert the .bin file back into Graphic Studio.

hi there, i'm thinking about installing the wolf patch, is there anything i can do to preserve the original installed version so that should the new patch screw things up, i can return to a working version?, any files i should back up?
also im using a radeon 9200 are the balls going to cause trouble?

yes just copy the DAT folder somewhere else on your hard drive, then if it screws up ur game, copy the dat folder back and it will overwrite the wolf patch.

I downloaded the patch but it can't extract, it says unexpected end of archive, this is the 4 time that I've tried to install the patch but still no success, help, i have the lastest winrar so i don't think thats the problem

Hello, Wolf! I'm a big fan of your patches, and I'm planning to install your 2005 Evolution patch after finishing my school exams later this month. I'd like to ask you two questions. I would be very grateful if you answer them.
1. In your patch, there's the uniform number pack. Are the 4 types of numbers correctly applied to the uniforms of different teams? If they are not, how can I apply them by myself?

2. Your option file already makes all the clubs have the latest squads. However, when I played PES 3 in the past with your option file, the computer teams bought and sold players among themselves and consequently after some time their squads became so "unrealistic" like Arsenal having Owen or Chelsea having Henry. Is there a way to make the computer teams not to do transactions among themselves and at the same time I can buy other players so that I can enjoy the game with the realistic squads in your option file?
