Real Madrid are in danger of going out of the Champions League at the first hurdle. Realistically they will have to win away at Roma to stay in the competition. Victory will guarantee them a place in the last 16, if they draw they will have to hope that Bayer Leverkusen lose at home to group leaders Dynamo Kiev.
As Leverkusen have the better head-to-head record with Real, they only need to match Real's result to book their place. And they will top the group if they beat Dynamo at the BayArena.
Dynamo need only a point, but if they lose in Germany they will have to hope woeful Roma get something against the galacticos.
GROUP C [+]
Juventus have already qualified after winning all of their five games 1-0. Bayern Munich advance as runners-up.
That leaves Ajax Amsterdam and Maccabi Tel-Aviv battling it out for the UEFA Cup place. As Ajax have the edge on the head-to-head record, Maccabi will have to get a better result in their final group game. So, Ajax will go into the UEFA Cup with a win at home to Bayern while Maccabi have their work cut out against Juve at the Ramat-Gan Stadium.
GROUP D [+]
Manchester United and Lyon are through, while Fenerbahce will play in the UEFA Cup next season.
All that is to be decided is top spot. Lyon will have to win at home to Sparta Prague and hope United do not at Fenerbahce.
GROUP E [+]
PSV Eindhoven have qualified, and require a point away at Panathinaikos to top the group.

If Arsenal beat Rosenborg: Arsenal and PSV will qualify. And Arsenal top the group IF Panathinaikos beat PSV.
If Arsenal fail to beat Rosenborg: Panathinaikos will go through with PSV IF they beat the Dutch side at the Apostolos Nikolaidis Stadium. PSV will top the group.
The team that misses out from Arsenal and Panathinaikos is guaranteed a UEFA Cup berth.
GROUP F [+]
AC Milan and Barcelona will be in the knockout stages. Milan need a point at Celtic to finish top. Barca can only do so if they win at Shakhtar Donetsk and Celtic are also victorious.
Celtic will drop into the UEFA Cup as long as their result is not bettered by Shakhtar.
GROUP G [+]
Inter Milan are already through, while Valencia take on Werder Bremen at the Mestalla for a place in the final 16. The German side hold a three-point advantage over their Spanish rivals, so Claudio Ranieri's men will have to win to even have a chance of progressing.

As Werder beat Valencia 2-1 at the Weserstadion:
Valencia 1-0 Werder Bremen: Valencia will go through on head-to-head
Valencia 2-1 Werder Bremen: Werder will go through on goal difference
Valencia 3-2 Werder Bremen, or higher scoring equivalent: Werder will go through on head-to-head
A victory for Valencia by any other scoreline will send them through.
Werder can only top the group if they win in Spain and Inter do not beat Anderlecht - who have lost all five matches - at the San Siro.
GROUP H [+]
Chelsea qualified as group winners after only four games, but their is a tight three-way battle for the second place.
Holders FC Porto are at home to Chelsea, managed by Jose Mourinho, the man who guided the Portuguese side to the title last season, and have to win to stand any chance of making it to the knockout stages.
