Berba usually sucks in games like these. Scholes's long passes wouldn't be that effective and would've been intercepted most of the time with Everton having 8 people in the box. Nani would have made a difference though. Fergie made the right decision IMO. With that team we could've won on another day. Plus its always good to have the players rest especially before playing Liverpool.

Chill man. Its just the first game and a draw is better than a loss. This rest is gonna be beneficial to the team in general. Also, teenagers like Smalling, Fabio and Chicharito got some experience in that game.
