I told you they'd get it done in the second leg ... though I didn't expect Ajax's defending to be that terrible ... I mean it wasn't a case of getting outwitted, it was downright schoolboy errors gifting goals away ... they nearly paid the price ... the attack was alright, and again excellent chances were created and not taken ...$teauA;2917289 said:Congrats to Ajax! I'm glad they sneaked through, it's gonna be tough for them to get past the playoff round though. I feel like it's almost psychological for them at this point. It has been so long since Ajax has been in the CL groups.
oh man Ajax v Samp?! that would be the worst-case scenario as far as I am concerned! definitely want to see them both in the group stages ...$teauA;2917289 said:My desired match-ups:
Sevilla - Braga
Werder - Young Boys
Zenit - Auxerre
Tottenham - Dynamo Kyiv
Ajax - Sampdoria

...in your opinion?

and the damn Hotspurs get the Young Boys? what luck for the Englanders ... would love to see Mayuka get the winner in that tie ...
yeah, definitely a great chance for the Germans to do so ... Samp haven't sold their big players, which is good, but they haven't really reinforced their squad for the Champions League challenge either ... Bremen have a lot more quality on paper ...ShiftyPowers;2918029 said:Big shot for Germany to get an early jump on Italy for next season's coefficient 3rd place.
