"É sempre bom saber do interesse de um grande clube como o Real Madrid, mas sempre me opus a esse tipo de notícias porque tenho contrato com o Valência. Primeiro têm que falar com o meu clube e como não o fizeram, não tenha nada a dizer sobre isso. Espero ficar muitos anos no Valência, clube com o qual tenho contrato"

What an hypocrite, this is f*cking incoherense. Doesn't he have any shame after what he did when he left to even come up with a moralist speech like this one? :nape:

well, aparently, Celtic fans will do a tribute to Miki in the game at Da Luz, exposing a 8m x 8m "pano"

well, seems that Veiga is out of Benfica,

i'm kinda pleased with this, despite some great players he brang to us, there are some things that make me believe this is good for us, like bad relationships with players, Tiago, Sokota that made them leave us the way they did, like bringing players like Marco Ferreira, like not having Camacho just because he didn't wanted... this are all "suposições" but i never trusted the guy, although he was doing a nice job, i think we should get a better man that leaves his personal wishes behind what's best for the club,

and someone less corrupt (6)

although he's been an important part of this last years titles, i think he's not the main responsible for it, Vilarinho, Camacho and Vieira were imo.

PS: and thanks for everything, he defended us like he was one of us (6)

hehe, nice post mate, I agree.

I think the person you're suggesting with integrity and being less corrupt is perhaps Paulo Futre? (6)

lol, i honestly don't have a clue on what person should take his place,

Camacho, Carraça, Rui, some people say Humberto Coelho,

those are all Benfiquistas, or have strong coneections with us, Camacho and Humberto were great coaches (at least during some time), Rui was a fantastic player, they all seem to be serious, honest and good persons, but what do you really need to have to take that place?

i never wanted Veiga to come in to Benfica, but now after he leaves i'm like... what now?!

what do you guys think?

Camacho would be a no brainer if we can afford him.

Whereas he's a not so great coach, his leadership and motivational skills would be a great addition.

It's pretty sad seeing that kind of club is losing again. You should start winning because already you lose to Porto 8 points. :boyaka:

Italian striker Fabrizio Miccoli, the highlight in Benfica’s front line over recent matches, has fallen foul of his frustrating tendency to injure himself yet again. Yesterday’s 2-1 win over Marítimo was earned at a high price as the player limped off with a left hamstring injury.

well this totally sucks

Just heard FS saying Miccoli was already in pain at half time but the player said he was ok and the usual stuff... So FS decided to send him for the 2nd half.

Hm... Considering we're gonna face Sporting and Man Utd next week this was a really smart move for FS and our medical staff... :s***:
