Patafta looks 14 and he hasn't really even stood apart from the rest in the junior team so we won't be seeing more of him till next season at least.

Well, the good things to take out of this game are Kikin's striker instinct and good heading ability (much needed by us), the fine display of Nuno Assis and Mantorras, as always, injecting life into the game when he comes in. Apart from that, it was yet another poor game by us, although in the 2nd half things did get slightly better.

For whatever reason he just skipped the whole Australian club stage so i've never really got to see much of him and am curious as to what all the fuss is about (I've heard good things from people who saw him at lower levels or saw him play at the Institute of Sport etc)

Well, I think it's plausible to put Miccoli and Simão on the wings with Nuno Gomes on the middle if Fernando Santos keeps the 4x3x3. That's what I'd do. However, I'm not sure that's what FS will do. Or does Miccoli perform better as a striker ? If he's put as a striker in this same tactic, I doubt he'll be be ahead of Nuno Gomes.

if Miccoli isnt ahead of Nuno Gomes (who was benched in favour of Postiga at WC), than he should play in the MLS
